Story
Hammy and RJ are an adorable pair of kittens who were surrendered by their owner on July 24, 2025 along with their two sisters (Meeko and Stella). The kittens were 4-weeks old at that time. Hammy is a handsome male Tuxedo kitten. He has a black-and-white short smooth coat in a tuxedo pattern, white paws, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, a small patch of white on the right-hand side of his muzzle, and long white whiskers. Hammy has a beautiful white/silver undercoat. RJ is a cute female Chocolate Point Siamese kitten. She has a cream/ivory short smooth coat, a long chocolate brown tail, and an adorable face with blue eyes, a large brown mask, a pink nose, a white muzzle, and long white whiskers. These siblings dearly love each other, but they are still working on their social skills with regard to their people friends. They have made progress in our shelter since their arrival, but they are not yet ready to be held in your arms or snuggle up on your lap. We believe that they would do much better in a home environment with a family or individual who has the experience/patience to let them acclimate to their new home (realizing they may choose to hide for awhile until you gain their trust). The siblings have been separated into pairs so that they will have a best friend for comfort/security: [Hammy & RJ] and [Meeko & Stella]. Hammy and RJ were neutered/spayed on September 23, 2025 and were also given rabies vaccine. Hammy weighed 6.7 lbs that day while RJ weighed 5.2 lbs. Hammy and his sister RJ are sharing a cage and are quite compatible. RJ plays the role of the proverbial 'little sister' who depends upon her big brother. They are being listed as a bonded pair and will be required to be adopted together.

Story
Monty is a handsome 2-year old male kitty who was surrendered by his owner on October 1, 2025 along with his companion (Foxy) who had also shared his home.. Their mistress could no longer care for the boys. Monty has an orange short smooth coat in a marbled tabby pattern, a large patch of white on his chest/belly, a long ringed tail, and an adorable (rather mischievous-looking) face with golden eyes, a pink nose, a white muzzle, and long white whiskers. Monty was given vaccinations and Drontal wormer on October 2, 2025. He weighed 8.1 lbs that day. These photos of Monty were taken on October 3rd, and he appeared to be the social butterfly (or perhaps proverbial little brother-type who loved to be pushing the envelope, so-to-speak) (Smile). Monty and Foxy had shared a large floor crate for the first few days that they were in our shelter but they were separated since they were getting on each other's nerves in the small confined space .. And needed their distance (hey .. we've all been there too guys, so we understand)~ Monty was neutered on October 13, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 8.7 lbs that day. Monty is ready to find a home either by himself or with his companion Foxy.

Okarun is an adorable 4-month old male kitten who was surrendered by his owner on September 11, 2025 along with his brother (JiJi) and their mother (Bamora) and several other cats/kittens who had shared their home. Okarun has a dark brown/black short smooth coat in a striped tabby pattern wit a tiny patch of white on his neck/chest, a long ringed tail, and the cutest kitten face with dark golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers. This little sweetheart has a sweet, playful personality. Okarun and his brother JiJi shared a cage for several weeks after their arrival but have been separated recently since JiJi decided that he was the big brother and in charge~ Okarun was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on September 16, 2025. He weighed 4 lbs on September 11, 2025. These photos of Okarun were taken on October 8, 2025 thanks to HSOV Volunteer Wendy Irvin who accompanied him in our 'studio' for Petfinder/Adoptapet/Facebook debut pictures. Okarun enjoyed exploring new territory and was fascinated with the wicker basket filled with a soft blanket and fall decorations .. Okarun looked like a model for Kitten Fancy Magazine in the basket (smile). Okarun will be neutered in the near future and will soon be ready to find a loving home of his very own. Okarun was neutered on November 3, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 5.8 lbs that day.

Story
Wobbles is an adorable 3-month old female kitten who was brought to the HSOV on August 11, 2025 along with her brother (Weebles) and their mother (Mrs. Thumbs) by a Good Samaritan who found this little family in the Little Hocking Ohio area. This little dollbaby has a gray-and-white short smooth coat, a long tail, and a beautiful gray/white symmetrically-marked face with hopeful trusting eyes, a charcoal gray nose, and long gray whiskers. Wobbles was given vaccinations and wormer on August 12, 2025. She was given booster vaccines on September 5, 2025. Wobbles went home with a foster mother on August 11, 2025 since she is most likely a CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia) kitty (a neurological condition in which the cerebellum is smaller than usual or not completely developed. This is a disorder found in cats (and dogs) which causes jerky movements, tremors and generally walking and balance problems. It is a non-progressive and non-contagious condition. Symptoms appear at birth although they may not be noticed until the kitten starts walking. These photos of Wobbles were taken late in the afternoon on August 11th (the day she arrived at HSOV). Thanks to HSOV Kennel Tech Madison Lee for so lovingly assisting Wobbles with her first photos and for offering her a wonderful foster home. Wobbles has the sweetest disposition and is an easy kitten to fall in love with.

Story
Elvira is a beautiful 3-year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on October 21, 2025 by a Good Samaritan who had found her on SR550/Barnett Ridge in the Fleming Ohio area after a dog had chased Elvira up a tree. Fortunately for Elvira, she was not physically harmed but was surely very traumatized. Luckily for Elvira she was able to climb the tree and also to find a way to get back down. This lovely girl has a black short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable chubby face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers. Elvira has a sweet, outgoing personality. She loves our compassionate HSOV Kennel Techs and gets along with other cats. Elvira does not feel comfortable in a small cage, so she enjoys out-of-cage time most of the time when it is safe for her to pussyfoot around the intake area or to take catnaps. Elvira was given vaccinations and wormer on October 22, 2025. She was given booster vaccines on November 6, 2025. Elvira is a big girl who tips the scales at 15 lbs. She had already been spayed when she entered our shelter. These photos of Elvira were taken on November 4th when she posed for preliminary photos for her debut on Petfinder/Facebook/Adoptapet.

Seiko is a beautiful 2-year old female Tortoiseshell kitty who was surrendered by her owner on September 11, 2025 with her four 8-week old kittens (Hana, Kei, Taro, and Turbo) along with several other cats who had shared their home. Seiko has a dark brown/orange/beige short smooth coat, a long tail, and a lovely face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers. Seiko was separated from her kittens shortly after their arrival since they were fully weaned. The kittens were paired up so that they could provide comfort/playtime for each other. Hana and Taro have shared a cage. Kei and Turbo have been cagemates. Momma Seiko has been enjoying much deserved rest-and-relaxation after raising four active youngsters. This sweet empty-nester has a super friendly, outgoing personality and loves attention. Seiko is always at the front of her cage in anticipation of attention. Seiko was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on September 16, 2025. She was given booster vaccines on October 7th 2025. Seiko was spayed on November 3, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 7.7 lbs that day. These photos of Seiko were taken on November 21, 2025 when HSOV Kennel Techs Madison Lee and Hannah McClain spent time with Seiko in our studio and helped her with glamour pictures. Seiko thoroughly enjoyed her out-of-cage time as she waltzed around our studio and made the most of her 15-minutes of fame (smile). Seiko is ready to find a fabulous home either through adoption or rescue. Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net).
