Story
Sweet RosieJust like her name, Rosie is as sweet as a rose! This affectionate 1.5-year-old beauty was found caring for her kittens and brought into a loving foster home where she could raise them safely. Now that her babies are grown, Rosie is fully vetted—spayed, tested, vaccinated, microchipped, and healthy—and ready to begin a life of her own.Rosie loves being close to her person. She gently rubs against her foster’s legs for attention, happily soaks up chin and cheek scratches, and follows her foster around the house like a little shadow. At bedtime, she curls up on the bed for cozy snuggles. She’s also playful and energetic—she’ll chase her favorite string toy endlessly and zoom after tossed balls and toy mice with delight.Rosie would thrive as an only cat, but she’s shown curiosity toward other felines and will likely do well with a friendly male kitty after a slow, thoughtful introduction. She’s not expected to be a good fit with dogs, as she has no known experience with them.A wonderful blend of affection and fun, Rosie will make a loving, devoted companion for the lucky person who brings her home.To learn more or inquire about adopting Rosie, please email Patricia at dpcadams@comcast.net.For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgDecember 1, 2025, 6:06 am

Meet Jet & Perry — the sweetest bonded duo looking for their forever home!Jet (black and white, female) and Perry (grey and white, male) are an inseparable pair of kitten best friends who balance each other out in the most heart-melting way.Jet is a gentle soul with a timid personality. Jet finds courage and comfort in her brother Perry, often following his lead or curling up next to him when she needs reassurance.Perry, on the other hand, is the confident explorer of the duo. Curious, playful, and always ready for fun, he loves investigating new toys, greeting new people, and showing Jet that everything is going to be okay. His happy-go-lucky energy helps Jet feel brave, and he’s never far from her side. These two balance each other perfectly: Jet brings the tenderness Perry brings the playfulness Together, they bring double the loveThey must be adopted as a pair, and whoever takes them home will be rewarded with two loving kittens who adore each other—and will adore you just as much.Adoption fee includes:&#226&#156&#133 Spay/Neuter&#226&#156&#133 Vaccines&#226&#156&#133 Microchip&#226&#156&#133 Treated for fleas and worms Interested in meeting Jet and Perry?Email us at: adoption@columbiahumane.org to request an application.Adoption Fee: $175 eachFor more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgDecember 7, 2025, 6:07 am
