Violin is a beautiful cat who has had a tough past. She was found in a field with her mom and sisters. The sisters showed a lot of promise from the start. Violin thought she might want to stay as a community cat with her mom. But after some time in the right foster home, she started to turn around. She went through a de-pickling process and has come out significantly less briny. Violin will still need a cat-savvy home and a patient adopter, but you will be wonderfully rewarded in time. She does well with other cats who can hold their own against her strong personality. She may overpower more submissive cats. Violin would be frightened of young children. She could probably hold her own with a cat-savvy dog. Violin is about a year old, vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is ready to add to your sweet symphony. My name is Abby, and I would like to introduce you to my fabulous, I mean FABULOUS self. I am a gorgeous 9-year-old supermodel looking for a new family to fawn over me. Once you see how gorgeous I am (just ask my foster mom, she seriously will not stop taking pictures of me!) I am sure you will understand why I would love a family of my own without other cats (or dogs, um, EEW!). Because let’s face it, no other cat can compare to me! I am a reserved girl and super low maintenance. I love hanging out in my cat cave but most any hidey hole will do! I also enjoy spending time with my foster mom; she gives excellent belly rubs! I don’t really play with toys. I am far too mature for that nonsense. The only thing I REALLY ask for is a big litter box. The bigger the better! Go big or go home I always say! I was found living in a barn, and at first, my finder and foster mom thought something might be wrong with my eyes. They were right—sort of! An eye specialist confirmed that while I can see changes in light, I can’t really see shapes. But you’d never guess that if you watched me zoom after toys, leap up on the couch, or make a beeline for my food dish. I’ve got everything figured out in my own special way, and I don’t let anything slow me down. I'm not special needs—but I am something really special.
