Story
Iroh is a female Domestic Shorthair with a sleek black coat and truly gorgeous, large yellow eyes that will stop you in your tracks. She came to us injured in November and has spent time recovering at our spay and neuter clinic. After everything she’s been through, Iroh is now healed and cleared for adoption.Because of her past, Iroh is understandably unsure of the busy, noisy environment at the adoption center. She prefers the comfort of her cat box, where she feels safe and secure. In a new home, she will likely want to hide for a while as she settles in and learns that she’s safe. A smaller, quiet space to start would be ideal to help her adjust at her own pace.Iroh is easy to handle and gentle, and with time, patience, and lots of love, she is expected to blossom into a very loving companion. She’s looking for a calm home and an understanding adopter who will give her the space she needs to feel secure—and the love she deserves. This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal, please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.Ready to adopt? Great news—our spayed/neutered pets are available to go home the same day!
