Found hiding in a garage, Sass initially coped with the big, loud world by trying to blend into the background. But thanks to the love and patience of her foster home, this sweet 5-year-old brown and black tabby is officially blooming into a calm, comforting companion.Sass has discovered the simple pleasures of indoor life. When she’s not taking in her surroundings, you can usually find her indulging in her two favorite hobbies: enjoying a sprinkle of fresh catnip or intently watching `Cat TV` on YouTube! She’s also learned to love head scratches, rewarding her foster humans with soft purrs, deliberate happy biscuits, and slow blinks that feel like winning the lottery.Sass has previously coexisted peacefully with other cats and a large dog, making her a great candidate for a home with a gentle resident pet to show her the ropes. Because the world can still feel a bit loud, Sass is holding out for a predictable, low-activity environment with older children or adults who respect her gentle pace. Meet Little Man!Don`t let the name fool you, Little Man is a whole lot of cat to love! While he was initially thought to be a quiet observer, his foster home revealed his true, confident personality almost immediately. He walked right into his foster home like he owned the place, skipping the hiding phase entirely to ask for instant pets and snuggles.This social guy is practically a feline shadow. He loves following his human around, rubbing against your legs for attention, and curling up for nightly snuggles in bed. When he is not hard at work collecting affection, he takes his job on neighborhood watch very seriously, happily claiming a prime couch spot by the window. He has also proven to be fantastic with cat-respectful dogs, quickly claiming his foster canine brother as his new best friend and nap buddy. It is currently unknown how he does living with other cats, but he has certainly made a canine friend!Little Man is front declawed, so he prefers to interact on his own terms rather than being picked up or carried. He is clear about his boundaries and will give a soft nip when he is finished being petted, though he still wants to hang out right next to you.
