But thanks to the love and patience of her foster home, this sweet 5-year-old brown and black tabby is officially blooming into a calm, comforting companion.Sass has discovered the simple pleasures of indoor life. When she’s not taking in her surroundings, you can usually find her indulging in her two favorite hobbies: enjoying a sprinkle of fresh catnip or intently watching `Cat TV` on YouTube! She’s also learned to love head scratches, rewarding her foster humans with soft purrs, deliberate happy biscuits, and slow blinks that feel like winning the lottery.Sass has previously coexisted peacefully with other cats and a large dog, making her a great candidate for a home with a gentle resident pet to show her the ropes. Because the world can still feel a bit loud, Sass is holding out for a predictable, low-activity environment with older children or adults who respect her gentle pace. Ivory came to us as a surrender, and while she is currently feeling a bit shy in the shelter environment, this young cat has so much potential waiting to unfold. She is a quiet observer who is just waiting for the right person to give her the patience and grace she needs to settle in.Once she feels safe, Ivory’s true gentle spirit will blossom, and she`ll show you just how rewarding it is to earn the trust of a shy cat. She is looking forward to finding a cozy, low-stress home where she can bloom at her own pace, discover her favorite sunny napping spots, and be spoiled with love.
