Meet Eggnog: Your New `Velcro` Best Friend!Eggnog is a 2-year-old female who came in as a stray has undergone a total transformation! While she arrived as a shy stray, she has officially found her confidence and is ready to be the heart of her new home.Eggnog is the definition of a `velcro cat.` If you’re looking for a shadow who wants to be right by your side, she is your girl! She has a heart of gold and two main speeds: the professional cuddler and the toy enthusiast. She thrives on affection and loves nothing more than curling up with her humans for long, cozy sessions, but she is also very active! She loves to engage with toys, chase things, and explore her surroundings.Eggnog was treated for an upper respiratory infection (URI) while in our care. While she’s feeling great now, she has some lingering nasal congestion. Our vet team suspects she may have Chronic Rhinitis. Essentially, Eggnog has the `permanent sniffles.` Think of it like a human with chronic allergies. She might have a little `whistle` when she breathes or the occasional sneeze, but it doesn`t slow her down one bit! This is not contagious to people or your canine friends, but can be contagious to other cats. She would be a perfect only cat or living with other cats that have Chronic Rhinitis.Eggnog also beat a skin condition called Demodex. She is officially cleared and healthy! Her soft coat is growing back beautifully, and she’s well on her way to being the fluffiest version of herself. Eggnog has found her confidence and her voice, now all she needs to find is a lap to call her own; are you ready to be her forever person? We`re unsure of her experience with cats, dogs, or children. Our team is happy to guide slow introductions to resident pets or younger family members.Eggnog is spayed and has received core vaccinations (feline distemper, rabies), flea preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you have any questions about Eggnog, feel free to reach out at (920) 733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org, or stop by during our open hours to take a look around!

Story
Marguerite: From Shuttered Soul to Social ButterflyMarguerite has officially found her wings! While the busy shelter life was a bit too much for this petite 2-year-old brown tabby, she has spent the last few weeks flourishing in a foster home. We are thrilled to report that her `shy shell` is a thing of the past—Marguerite is now a confident, curious, and incredibly sweet girl who is ready to find her forever people.Marguerite has traded her nerves for an outgoing, `purr-first` personality. In her foster home, she has revealed herself to be a deeply affectionate companion who seeks out head pets and ear scratches. She is no longer hiding; she’s exploring, engaging, and showing us just how much love she has to give.Because she has gained so much confidence around other animals in her foster home, her foster family believes Marguerite may enjoy having a feline companion to play with and learn from. She would thrive in a home that offers a steady routine, a patient family to celebrate her journey from wallflower to friend, and a commitment to slow, proper introductions with resident pets.Marguerite is spayed and has received core vaccinations (feline distemper, rabies), flea preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you have any questions about Marguerite, feel free to reach out at (920) 733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org, or stop by during our open hours to take a look around!

Story
**Chester is in foster, please call 920-733-1717 to set up an appointment to meet him!**Meet Chester, the handsome 4-year-old orange and white gentleman! Chester may not show his best self when you first meet him. He gets scared around new people and in new places, and in a new home he will likely hide for a few weeks. But give him a quiet room, time, and patience, and you will get to meet the REAL Chester, and he is absolutely worth the wait. With more time in foster, Chester’s personality has really started to shine. He still loves his signature walk by pets, casually passing by while soaking up attention, but he has also learned how wonderful it is to snuggle up next to his person for pets. Most nights, he sleeps right next to his foster. While he is not much of a lap cat, he loves sitting beside you and snoozing with part of his body touching yours. Chester is playful beyond belief and loves batting toys around on the floor, chasing string toys, and going absolutely wild for the laser pointer. When he is not playing, he is an expert napper and will happily curl up in anything small, whether that is his bed, a box, or even his foster’s remote control tray on the couch. He has the cutest little meow that he uses often when he wants attention, and once he is comfortable, he does want pets often. He is also a big fan of making biscuits with his paws. Chester is still a bit skittish and will run when startled, so he would do best in a quiet home without young kids. In the right environment, he is truly a gem. Sweet, quirky, affectionate in his own way, and full of personality. Chester will make his future family incredibly happy. With patience and love, he will reward you with companionship, playfulness, and endless charm..Chester is neutered and has received core vaccinations (feline distemper, rabies), flea preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you have any questions about Chester or our adoption process, feel free to reach out to adoption staff at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org.
