Meet Tom & JerryThese little balls of fluff are very bonded. THEY MUST GO HOME TOGETHER. These friends were found roaming the streets of a Phoenix neighborhood. You were thinking of adopting only one dog, but look at them, how could you resist those sweet faces. Besides isn't two greater than one!Tom and Jerry are an adorable duo that would do best in a quiet household. They would thrive with a mentor dog to help them learn that they do not have to be on alert all the time and that they should learn to relax and have fun! When they came to us both were very fearful of people and touch. It was so sad to see them this way. We have been working on confidence and leash walking. Tom has made amazing progress! Jerry has made progress, but he is still working on his confidence. They are curious but take a while to warm up to new people. Both are still very shy. but will allow you to pet them. They can walk on a leash they just need a little more work to fine-tune their skills. Patience and positive reinforcement are a must to win them over. Once you have won them over you will have 2 new best friends! You will never be lonely again! They have the cutest personalities! They LOVE to run and play! They get along with other dogs. They will need a family that has the time and patience to continue working with them. They would do best in a home with no children. They are bonded so they need to stay together.Jerry is approx. 4 years old and 15lbs, Tom is approx. 4 years old and 19lbsTom & Jerry are ready for their forever home since they are chipped, vaccinated, neutered, and vet-checked! Want to know more about Tom & Jerry, meet them, adopt them!? Story
** ARIZONA ONLY ** PHOENIX METRO AREA ** We believe Riley is a Havanese mix (just our best guess). He's estimated to be 4-5 years old and is a great little boy. He sits almost on command :)) and he's housebroken... very polite, takes treats nicely, LOVES toys, enjoys going for walks, rides nicely in the car, and is hoping to sleep with his people at night. During the day, he'll be your best buddy and follow you around the house, or he'll gladly supervise if you work from home. He's just great! Any children in his home should be at least 14 years old and very kind and responsible in nature. Riley will go home up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, health-checked, and with a complete dental. We can set up a meet & greet upon approved application. Please email to request one.

Story
Snickers is probably a havanese mix and around a year old and around 20lbs. Her family had become homeless and with a pregnant dog they reached out for help. Snickers was an awesome dog in her foster home sleeping on her dog bed beside her person and using a doggy door. She delivered 9 puppies and was an amazing mom who also enjoyed her time out sleeping in her own bed when she had the time. Snickers is chipped, fixed and up to date on shots. Snickers would to best in a home with older / dog-savy kids and she loves to play with other dogs. She pulls a bit on a leash for a walk and once she calms down from the excitement of it, she is a lovely dog.

Story
Vail is an energetic on of the 9 puppies born to Snickers (a havi-mix). He's a scruffy boy. At around 7lbs and 4 months, he will be around 12-15lbs is our guess. Vail loves dogs people and can't wait for his own furever. He will do best in a home with another confident dog. He is due in 3 weeks for another DAPP and rabies shots. If you are interested in any of the puppies in this litter please answer some questions at www.lovefordogs.org/adopt-foster

Story
PWRESCUE.ORG Special needs - dominate personality, need experienced owner.*PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY* Leo is a 7 year old, 22 pound Lhasa/poodle blend boy. He came to the rescue when his owner was unable to care for him. He will do best with owners who understand the Lhasa “personality” which is a dog that is very strong-willed and it’s been said that “when a Lhasa Apso looks in the mirror, he sees a lion”.  Leo will be a wonderful and loyal companion IF his new owners can establish a relationship of mutual respect – i.e. admiring his independent character while consistently enforcing your rules so that he respects you as well. His new owners will require patience, as it will take a while (maybe weeks) for him to get used to a new environment and once he does, he will be very loyal. Leo wants love and attention but is not usually a cuddler. His "M.O." is fairly vocal and often uses "growling" not as a warning/don't touch me, but rather as an expression of his attitude. He has never bitten his previous owner or current foster, but the growling-type vocalization needs to be understood.   He loves walks, running around in the backyard and he loves to sleep with his human. If his humans are strong leaders and exert matching energy (not overpowering or forceful behavior) he responds well. He will do best in a home with just his humans or possibly another submissive (but not younger) dog.  He will not likely get along with young children and would do best in a home with only adults.   With patience and mutual respect, this lovely boy will reward his owners with unmatched loyalty and love!   Leo is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $280.  Please visit our website at: https://pwrescue.org and click on the "Adopt" button to complete an application.Pathways Home Animal Rescue April 23, 2024, 10:30 pm

Story
PWRESCUE.ORG *PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY*  MUST HAVES: ANOTHER YOUNG PLAYFUL DOG IN THE HOME; SECURE FENCED YARD. Abby is a 8-10 month old, 14 pound female Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu blend. She came to the rescue when her owner could no longer care for her.  Since Abby is still in her puppyhood, she will need another playful dog in the home to run and play with.  She can be a little shy with new people, but warms up quickly! She is house trained, loves her toys (especially playing tug) and bounces around with her foster siblings. She will do well in a home with plenty of activity and lots of attention, so would love to have at least one human home most of the time.  Any children in the home should be at least 12 years old and of a kind, gentle nature. Abby is a silly, goofy young girl that wants lots of attention! She will follow you anywhere on the chance you just might want to play! Fetch and tug are two of her favorite activities, but when she's done, she wants to be in your lap and always touching you! Abby is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $400.00.
