We think she is around 6 months old, weighs 6 pounds and is a Shih Tzu/Maltese mix.  She came from a hoarding situation and is learning how to be pampered. Her first haircut was quite the transformation. Ivy is quickly becoming a snuggler and is starting to discover that people and toys are fun. She loves other dogs and likes to wrestle with her sister. She is working on her leash skills and potty manners. A fenced yard is a plus.  A training/manners class is required and must be completed within 6 months to finalize the adoption. She will be scheduled to be spayed soon. Once healed she will be ready for adoption. Apply now and watch little Ivy grow!

Story
Louie is a 1 1/2 year old white male Havanese. I purchased him from a breeder in Lancaster, PA as a puppy. He is very loveable little guy. He’s good with dogs but, I don’t know about cats or children. He’s a bit afraid of men but loves women. He will sleep in your bed all night. He still has his puppy energy and is good running at a park. He is leash trained and behaves well when on one. He’s a very good companion.

She came into my life in 2020 and has been a very special part of my family ever since. She is a loving, loyal, and wonderful companion who deserves a home where she can feel safe, understood, and cared for.She would do best with an experienced adopter who understands that she needs patience, consistency, and time to adjust. She is not comfortable around children, especially babies and young children, and would be happiest in an adult-only home. She also has some resource-guarding behaviors that will require an experienced person who is willing to work with her calmly and consistently. She is on prozac and clonidine. With the right guidance, patience, and a structured environment, these behaviors can be managed and improved.I am looking for a responsible, experienced person who will give her the time and understanding she needs to build trust and feel secure. She has so much love to give and deserves a home that is committed to helping her thrive.
