Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Maverick is a diamond in the rough! Time, Patience, Training and Commitment is what we are looking for with this boy, and he will give back 1000X back!! We are reposting Maverick with more specifics as to his training needs. Please let us know if you have already applied and are still willing to provide what this boy needs!! Maverick is a 1 year old, 7.2 lb Havapoo who is playful, loveable and full of energy. As a puppy, he was never taught boundaries so his potential adopter will need to invest in some basic obedience dog training as a condition of his adoption contract. He gets along well with other dogs and cats in the home, however he can be very leash reactive. This means when walking on a leash he can display bad manners/behavior when meeting both new dogs and new people. He has come a long way with his current foster and is slowly getting better, but will need additional training in his new home. Due to his leash issues, we will not adopt him to a home with young children or grandchildren in the home. We are looking for someone who is home more than not as Maverick needs a lot of attention. If he is left alone he is bound to get into mischief!! This little guy is otherwise very happy, loveable and easy going at home. He loves to play with toys with his current foster sister and can be adopted as a single dog or with one other easy going bigger dog. Maverick was recently neutered and microchipped and is up to date on all vaccines.
