Yes… fuzz! ** His ears are looking so much better. ** He’s taking thyroid medication to help regulate his body and support healthy skin and coat growth. Healing like this doesn’t happen overnight. It’s slow, steady, and sometimes measured in millimeters of fluff. But every small change feels like striking gold. I would thrive in a home with an active adopter who can continue supporting my training, especially as I work on leash manners and staying focused when I get excited. I can be strong and enthusiastic on leash at times, so I’ll need someone with the energy, patience, and confidence to guide me consistently and help reinforce my progress. Because of my energy level and ongoing training needs, I would likely be best matched with an adult-only household rather than an older individual or couple who may not be looking for a dog with my activity level. While a fenced yard is not required, having access to a secure outdoor space would be very beneficial for me. Spending time outside helps build my confidence, provides a healthy outlet for my energy, and allows me to decompress. With the right structure, continued positive reinforcement, and a committed adopter, I will continue to grow into a well-mannered and devoted companion. We highly recommend that Charlie Bear’s adopter engage a qualified, positive-reinforcement trainer to support his transition into the home and continue building on his skills. Bebop, an 7-8 year-old Havanese Maltese mix, is an independent and loyal companion who loves being close to his person after establishing a relationship. He did not have the best previous life so you will need a little patience while waiting for him to warm up/trust you. He enjoys lounging around the house, getting chin strokes and back scratches, and would prefer to be home with you, though he can be left alone for periods. While he isn't very playful with toys, he loves going on walks and is a great car rider. Bebop is treat-motivated, which makes him easy to adjust to new situations or surroundings. He does not get along with other dogs and will bark or growl if he sees them on walks, so he's best suited as the only dog in the home. Overall, Bebop is a laid-back dog who simply wants to relax by your side and get lots of love & treats. If kept on a strict potty break schedule, he is potty trained. LOCATED IN LAND O LAKES FL - MUST LIVE WITHIN 25 MILES OF PASCO COUNTY LOOKING FOR A FOSTER AND OR A FOREVER HOME
