Story
Meet Obi!    (Yes—like Obi-Wan Kenobi… and just as wise and lovable!)  This adorable 6-year-old Havanese is ready to find his forever home!    Obi is a super social little guy who loves being around people and other dogs—but he’d also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only pup. He just loves being with his people! Whether it’s cruising in the car , heading to the dog park, or even going to work and hanging out in the office, Obi is always up for spending time by your side.  About Obi: • Very friendly and social   • Loves other dogs (but can also thrive as an only dog)   • Enjoys car rides, dog park outings, and office days   • Kennel trained—but does great having the run of the house when you’re away   • Playful—he enjoys chasing squirrels and rabbits!    He hasn’t lived with cats before, so slow introductions would be important if there are cats in the home.  Obi came into rescue after becoming nervous around a new toddler in his previous home. Because of this, we’re looking for a family with children 12 and older who understand and respect a dog’s space. This sweet, charming boy is full of personality and ready to bring love (and maybe a little Jedi energy ) into your home.   If you are interested in our cute Obi, fill out the adoption application on our site: nebraskanokill.org   Suggested adoption donation:  $300.00       June 4, 2026, 11:34 am

Story
Snow is a retired breeding stud who has recently been neutered. My dad was the one that took care of the dogs but he passed away so I'm continuing the process of retiring him and finding him a new home. His previous breeder is suspected of being neglectful. As such, Snow can take a second to warm up. He is good with other small dogs, older big dogs, cats, and kids (8+).Since he has warmed up to me, he is a Velcro lapdog that wants to be near people cuddled up on the couch or bed. He is not a very playful dog unless you really engage him or there is another playful dog around. I suspect his disposition will adapt as he settles into a new home away from being a working stud.Edit: I can confirm he is doing excellent with my daughters, myself, my cats. I am in an apartment so he has to be on leash and is adapting well to times potty breaks. He has also been crated with my other dog and seems fine with it. I don't know how he would do solo but he's shown no signs of nervousness with it.
