🐾 Meet Axel Levi!
Axel Levi is a handsome 6-year-old Havanese mix weighing about 18 lbs, and he’s one very special little guy! ❤️
Ax loves his humans almost as much as he loves food—and that’s saying something! He is a smart, affectionate boy who absolutely thrives on love, attention, and physical affection. Once he knows and trusts you, he becomes a sweet little cuddlebug who will happily let you rub his belly. 🥰
Axel can be timid and sensitive around strangers, so he needs a patient family who understands that trust takes a little time. Give him at least two days to decompress and settle in, and you’ll start to see his sweet personality shine through. Once he feels safe, he bonds deeply with his person and is incredibly loyal.
And this boy is VERY smart! He learned sit and down in just two short training sessions—what an impressive little guy! He also knows paw, is 100% house trained, and is crate trained. Talk about a perfect package! 🐶✨
Axel does well with other dogs, but because he loves being the center of attention and really enjoys lots of one-on-one affection, we think he may be happiest as an only dog where he can soak up all the love.
He also has a protective side and can be vocal when he’s unsure of strangers. Because he may bark or nip when frightened, he needs an experienced, patient adopter who will respect his boundaries and give him time to build trust rather than rushing introductions.

Adoption fee is: $350
ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
