Story
Smokey was a God-send, a literal miracle. We didn’t know we needed him until we got him. He made us feel the most loved and the most wanted people in the world. Like no one else matters, like nothing else matters. He loves cuddling and fortunately he is hypoallergenic, does not shed, and does not have bad breath! We grow his silky coat in winter, but keeps it short during summer. Next to us he loves sleeping most. He tells us when he needs to go potty by “knocking” on the backdoor. He love trips and he travelled with us by air and by land. But now the inevitable has come as we leap to a new chapter in our life. We will be overseas for very long periods as we seek God for new purposes and new destinations. We would love to be able to take him with us, but we simply can’t. Leaving him alone and lonely for months in a boarding place is not just unaffordable but worse, unbearably cruel especially because it will not be the last. Will you love Smokey the way he will surely love you?
