Story
Kalvin is a darling dog who likely is a Cockapoo. He was found roaming the streets with who we believe is his brother. Kalvin is active and playful. He loves people and gets along with most other dogs. He is very smart and very attentive. He is learning the leash and does well in the car. Kalvin needs a yard to run in and possibly another dog to play with or at least an active owner to play with him. Like many of our rescue dogs, we are not sure how well housetrained Kalvin is. But with gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise he should be easy to train. Kalvin is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Kalvin’s adoption fee is $400 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! If you would like to be considered to for this adoption or any of our amazing rescues, please fill out the application with the help of this link. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AZST/Dog. We review each application carefully. Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest. We appreciate all applicants and do our best to pair every dog and family for a successful and happy life.
