Logan is a sweet boy. He is very protective of me and my children (ages 8 and 4yo). He is over-protective of me and the kids around men, and can be destructive of wood if locked away. We have sent him to obedience training, and he was doing very well when we had a full time nanny. Unfortunately, now that the kids are in school, and he is home alone more frequently, he seems to get anxious, leading to him growling and acting more aggressive with my husband. I think he would thrive in an environment where there was someone home with him more often, with more normal schedules. He really is great with children. He is 3 years old. He requires normal grooming consistent with his breed (around every 6 weeks). He does great with boarding.

We are looking to rehome our sweet Charlie boy and are wanting nothing but the best home for him with someone who will be able to make the commitment to him for the rest of his life. Charlie is our 4th animal in a home of two cats and one dog and he is one that we believe is best as the only pet in the house as he antagonizes the others. he is a hyper dog who loves attention, to play outside with you and loves going on walks and anything outdoors. He listens well but what ultimately brought us to the decision of needing to rehome is the antagonizing to our other animals. he is our 4th pet out of 3 and the antagonizing has progressively gotten worse as time goes on even after neutering to the point where the other animals quality of life has depleted and for one of our cats it has gotten so bad it caused a stress induced urine blockage. he has so much love to share and i feel will do best with an active, loving owner with no other pets looking for a companion in a dog.

It's with a heavy heart that I have to rehome our 3 year old Bernedoodle. His name is Hendrix (he's all black with a hint of phantom grey) and is an awesome dog that is house trained, crate trained, well behaved, loves to play fetch. He's great with children but no matter the amount of money spent on dog training, he's just not happy in our home with two other dogs. Ideally he would be an only dog but he gets along great with one of my other females and even does well and in a doggie daycare environment. It kills me to have to make this decision but he's not eating well due to his stress level and I want him to have the home he deserves. We are located near Tatum and Greenway. Meet Scrappy, a one-year-old, 15-pound Poodle/Schnauzer mix with a story that proves just how resilient dogs can be. This little guy was found wandering the streets of Phoenix, matted and messy, wearing a grimy Scooby Doo T-shirt—a sure sign he’d been living the “ruff” life for a while. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Samaritan brought him to safety, and now Scrappy is on the lookout for a forever home. Despite his rough start, Scrappy is as friendly and playful as they come. He’s quickly become a favorite among staff and volunteers, charming everyone with his sweet personality and happy spirit. He may have been scrappy on the streets, but he’s all heart now—and he’d love nothing more than to be your new best friend. Scrappy is a Guardian Angel dog with a $300 adoption fee. These special pups are in high demand, and their increased fee helps offset the costs of caring for rescues with special medical or behavioral needs—or those who stay with us longer than expected. His adoption fee includes neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Meet Chaz (tan) & Kai (black), a 10 year old pair of male Poodle mixes. Chaz & Kai originally found themselves at PCACC in 2023 after their owner passed away, and were quickly adopted by their current owner. Unfortunately, Chaz & Kai were surrendered due to the owner having unexpected medical needs, and no longer being able to care for them. Both dogs are crate trained, cat & dog friendly, and great with people. This pair has spent most of their lives together, so we would love to find them a home together. Chaz & Kai’s adoption fee is $350 as a pair and includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
