Story
Ivan is a loving dog who needs a new home. He has allergies that require management that we are no longer able to provide after having a third child. He does well with the yorkiepoo he has lived with and does great with our small children; however, we believe he would thrive best in a home where he can be the main focus. Ivan is crate trained and used to being in his crate while we are at work. He is a big couch potato and enjoys curling up in comfy spots and finding a free hand for pets. Ivan is up to date with vaccinations and medical records can be provided. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Story
Please read this entire description before applying. Two Whoodle brothers who never had a real start in life are finally ready for the home they should have had from the beginning. We strongly prefer to adopt them together. Chester and Corkie, a bonded pair, are now 8 months old and about 30 lbs each. They spent their entire lives in a kennel before rescue — no walks, no toys, no family, and almost no human contact. Everything in the world is still new to them, and they are learning slowly, gently, and bravely. We do not expect them to get much bigger. Since entering a foster home, they have shown what wonderful dogs they truly are. Corkie is the more confident brother. He watches people closely, makes decisions faster, and Chester looks to him for cues on what to do next. Corkie was recently shaved down because he’s the waterlover of the pair — he goes straight for the kiddie pool every chance he gets. Chester is more cautious and relies on Corkie for reassurance. He follows Corkie’s lead and gains confidence by staying close to him. With patience and routine, he continues to make steady progress. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ADOPTERS • They will be cautious and fearful at first — this is normal for them. They are still learning that strangers can be safe and kind.• They cannot be crated for long periods. Due to their past confinement, crating creates significant anxiety. A baby gate in a safe utility or laundry room is the best option when you are not home.• They are not good on a leash yet. Right now, they tend to sit down and refuse to walk. This will improve with time, patience, and gentle practice, but adopters should expect slow progress at first. THEY WILL NEED:• A fully fenced backyard (mandatory — no invisible fences)• Someone home during the day• A quiet, patient household• Kids 13+• Adopter must live within 1½ hours of Crown Point• 10day trial adoption to ensure it’s a good fit They are neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. The adoption fee for both boys together is $500. If adopted separately, the fee is $350 each. While we prefer to adopt them together, we will consider separate adoptions. These boys have survived a lot, and they are finally safe. Now they just need the right family — someone gentle, patient, and willing to go slow — to help them bloom. If you think you could be that home, please apply on our website: www.indianasaveadog.com  ##2696674##

Story
SADIE — Miniature Bernedoodle | 3–4 years old | 44 lbs Sadie is a Blue Merle Tricolor Bernedoodle. When Sadie arrived, she was severely matted from her time with a breeder — every knot and tangle told the story of a dog who hadn’t been cared for the way she deserved. But underneath all those mats was the sweetest girl just waiting for someone to love her. We had to shave her down, and her hair is starting to grow back soft and beautiful.  Today, Sadie is blossoming in her foster home. She is a calm, gentle, and very wellbehaved doodle who wants nothing more than to please her people. Sadie loves to cuddle, relax near you, and soak up every bit of affection she can get. She gets along beautifully with her canine foster brothers and sisters, and she has shown no interest in cats. She’s starting to enjoy squeaky toys and bones, and she has been a perfect house guest — she has not chewed on anything other than her toys. Sadie loves children, hanging out on the deck, and doing joyful zoomies around the yard. She rides well in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and is learning that life can be safe, soft, and full of love. Sadie’s past may have been rough, but her future is bright — and she’s ready for a family who will cherish her the way she always deserved.  ADOPTION CRITERIA • Fully fenced-in backyard required — no invisible fences.• Someone home more often than not — she thrives on companionship and routine.• Children in the home must be over 7 years of age.• Calm, stable home environment where she can be the center of attention.• Sadie is being fostered in Fort Wayne, Indiana She is spayed, vet-checked, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption donation is $500.  Put in an application at www.indianasaveadog.com  ##2761912##
