Story
I got Hunter in 2019 and he is a really sweet and loving dog. The reason I’m looking to rehome him is because he has separation anxiety and anytime I leave he barks and whines and sometimes gets so anxious that he’ll even urinate in the house previously this wasn’t an issue because I was a homeowner, but I’ve recently sold my home and moved into an apartment and it’s becoming more difficult to manage his anxiety. Because of his separation anxiety, he can be very needy so I think it will be best for Hunter to go to a home that consists of a large family so that there will be someone home with him most of the time. My family is rather small and more often than not, he would has to be home alone, which he he doesn’t respond well to. Aside from his anxiety he is really energetic and a lot of fun.

Story
My dog name is “FRIDAY” and he’s a ball of energy and he’s crate trained. He love to snuggle and has a beautiful soft Merle coat that has a slight wavy pattern. There is no such thing as walking Friday outside and someone doesn’t stop to engage with Friday due to his load of cuteness. I got Friday at 8 weeks old in which he’s my first puppy. I’ve learned so much about puppies within this short time as we both put full effort into learning each other. Friday loves to play tug a war with his favorite blanket. He loves chasing a tennis ball but overall his favorite toy is a plastic empty water bottle lol. I take Friday on frequent walks but he needs more time to get adjusted to cars. He will curl up in your lap as a safe haven whenever we had to get on the road. Friday has had his up to date shots and a wellness check. He has a slight ear infection that seems to be getting much better with the ointment the doctor provided. Friday will sleep at least 6 hours through the night

These pups are in Crown Point, Indiana too!

Story
Please read this entire description before applying. Corkie is a 9monthold Whoodle who came into rescue with his brother, Chester. While both boys lacked early social experience, Corkie is the more confident of the two. He warms up faster, approaches slowly for treats, and once he trusts you, he happily leans in for gentle affection. He also loves other dogs his size or smaller and enjoys following them around, learning routines, and exploring new things. Corkie is sweet, gentle, and observant. He gains confidence from having another friendly dog in the home and enjoys companionship. He’s also the “water dog” of the pair — he loves the kiddie pool and was shaved down for comfort because of how much he enjoys splashing around. Like his brother, Corkie is not yet ready for leash walks. A secure, fully fenced yard is required. He is a flight risk when startled, so doors, gates, and transitions must be handled carefully. He cannot be crated due to his history at the breeder, which caused anxiety. When unattended, he should be kept in a safe room with a pet gate. Potential adopters must live within 50 miles of Northwest Indiana. Corkie is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS• Fully fenced backyard (no invisible fences).• Primary caregiver home more often.• Children 13+.• Calm, patient household.• Friendly resident dog his size or smaller strongly preferred — he thrives with canine companionship.• No crates — use a petgated room when he is unattended.• Experience with shy or unsocialized dogs is a plus.  ##2696674##

Please read this entire description before applying. Chester is a 9monthold Whoodle (Wheaten Terrier/Poodle mix) who came into rescue with his brother, Corkie. Both boys had very little early social experience, and Chester is the more cautious of the two. He learns best by watching another dog and following their lead. Chester will need a friendly, gentle resident dog his size or smaller who can show him the ropes and help him continue building confidence. He is a sweet, observant puppy who is making steady progress, and he’s ready for an adopter who understands shy dogs and can offer consistency, patience, and a quiet environment where he can settle in. Chester is currently rejecting leash training and is not yet ready for walks. A secure, fully fenced yard is required. He is a flight risk when scared, so doors, gates, and transitions must be handled carefully. He cannot be crated due to his history of being kept in a crate at the breeder, which contributes to his anxiety.
