Story
Jill is a sweet and friendly 16-pound Miniature Poodle/Chihuahua mix who loves people and enjoys being part of the family. She can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’s a total sweetheart. Jill gets along well with small children, men, and women, and she’s friendly and playful with other small dogs—though she’s not a fan of puppies. Her favorite pastime? Tennis balls! She loves collecting them, playing fetch, and rolling them around with her nose. Her hidden talent? She can fit two at a time in her mouth! Jill is also a total snuggle bug—she loves curling up on your lap, following you around, and gazing out the window. She’s independent enough to use a doggie/cat door on her own, and her waggy tail is absolutely irresistible. She’s not a fan of being crated and may bark when left alone. Jill has been with the rescue for a while as a medical case with chronic ear issues. She is looking for an adopter that understands this will be a lifelong issue and she may have flareups. This may require more veterinary appointments than other dogs. She is currently on medication for the ears that an adopter will need to keep up on. The rescue is requiring a 7 day trial period for any potential adopter.
