Story
At 16 years old, Sunshine Machine is the definition of a gentle old soul. With his soft curly coat, soulful eyes, and heart-melting cuddles, this poodle mix is a sweet reminder of how special senior dogs truly are. Sunshine has been diagnosed with Cushing's Disease, and while it's a serious condition, he's shown some signs of improvement since starting treatment. His lab work came back mostly normal, which gives us hope—but he’s still navigating some bumps in the road. His body is adjusting to medication, and while it’s helping with some symptoms (like frequent urination), it’s also caused some difficult side effects—nausea, vomiting, constipation, and a loss of appetite. Right now, Sunshine needs someone who can provide patient, loving care while he figures out what works best for his body. He is struggling with eating and may need to be force fed. It’s a delicate balance—but one filled with potential, if the right person can help him through this next stage of his journey. Despite it all, Sunshine Machine still lives up to his name. Once he’s comfortable, he loves short walks, gentle play, and curling up right next to you for a snuggle. He has so much love left to give—it just takes someone willing to slow down and walk alongside him.

Story
Gus has displaced due to his prior owner's dementia. He had been with her since she got him as a puppy back in 2017. I am currently fostering this adorable little goofball and I must say I've never had a dog so absurdly happy to see me. About: * Great on a martingale leash while walking. Minor tugging for smells, but does not jump or bark at other dogs or people when passing. * Will sleep in his bed, kennel, or on the couch when things are quiet. Will bark at doorbell, but is otherwise very chill. * Will let you know when he needs to go to the bathroom. * Good in the car. Will quietly sit on a seat. * Very food motivated. Will take to training if consistent. Already knows where to wait and sit to have his leash put on to go outside. * I am able to bathe him easily without issue. Only a little afraid of the dryer. * Will bite groomer, vet. May need muzzle in these two instances. Has not bitten outside of this. * Scared of new people but warms up fast.

Story
Meet Reina, an adorable Goldendoodle who is a quiet, sensitive soul and is still learning the world is a safe place. She is shy and timid right now, but there's a gentle, affectionate heart underneath that needs a little time and patience to shine. Reina is 8 months old and 40 lbs. and was raised on a very reputable breeders’ farm near Ft. Worth, Texas. She is absolutely gorgeous and has a beautiful curly/wavy coat. Reina is current on all her vaccinations and deworming. She has made great strides in walking on a leash and is house and crate trained. She is a one-person pup right now and is very affectionate and cuddly once she bonds with you. She may also benefit from another pup. On her outings she is a bit unsure about unfamiliar noises, but she starts to loosen up after a bit and looks for gentle reassurance. If you have a quiet home, a gentle heart, and the patience to let her come out of her shell at her own pace, Reina could be yours!
