Story
Duck and Mother Goose MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions Adoption Fee: $1,100.00 for the pair. We have recently posted a number of Ragdolls and Devon Rex from a breeder who decided to close the cattery she had recently opened. She evidently was thinking to branch out into breeding Persians because she also surrendered Mother Goose and Duck, a mother and daughter pair. The last photo I have included below is one taken of Duck, aka the Darling Duckling, on the day we got her. She was so small and so unbelievably cute (!!!!!) with her white feet and white blaze between her eyes. She is no longer tiny but she is still amazingly cute with her great round green eyes. She is all about play and exploration, a carefree young teenager. Her mom is quite different, she has seen more of life and has had the worry of kittens or at least one. Goose is very gentle, cautious, super sweet when she knows you. I think her life has not been all ease and comfort. She arrived stressed and unsure clearly feeling things had not been as safe and loving as she needed. There was a little sadness in her eyes. Did she lose her other kittens? There is no way to know. Persians are all and only about love. They are treasures that must be kept safe and loved every single day. This is true of all cats of course, but it is especially true of tender hearted Persians. These two would like to go to their new home together and spend their years together. They need a family who spends a lot of time at home. Noisy young children and bouncy barking dogs would not be a good for them but other gentle, non dominant, cats might be fine. Duck has kitten play monster energy right now but she will outgrow some of that soon. Goose has a very soft, quiet temperament. She will blossom and be so happy in the love of her humans . Some family will be so lucky to have this special pair to love. They will be loved back by Persians who give their whole hearts to take care of their humans. They do have one request of their new family. " Please give us new grown up names!" I agree. The day for being called Duck and Mother Goose is pretty much over ( And no, I didn't name them) Duck is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz, California. Duck is: Neutered/Spayed, Vaccinated, FELV Tested, Dewormed, Microchipped, Wet Food, Dry Food, Litter Box Perfect Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish them and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are a perfect adopter for Duck please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com. If you are unable to reach Harriet please email info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Story
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat through our Owner Placement Program. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this. Allie is NOT in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home, but residing with my current owner in Lincoln. Adoption fee applies. Temperament / Personality: Allie is a very sweet, affectionate, people-oriented doll-faced Persian. She is extremely loyal to her humans and prefers to be near them at all times—whether that’s in the same room, on the couch, or following you around the house. She is calm overall, but can be somewhat needy and thrives on attention and companionship. Likes / Dislikes: She loves being close to her people and does best in a home where she can have consistent interaction and a predictable routine. She does not do well with change—this includes changes in environment, routine, litter box cleanliness, or being left alone for extended periods (such as vacations). Litter Box Habits: Allie is litter box trained and does use it regularly. However, she has a history of inappropriate urination when stressed or when her routine is disrupted. We have consulted a veterinarian, and she was diagnosed with idiopathic stress-related urination (no medical cause found). This behavior tends to occur during times of stress, change, or when she is seeking closeness/comfort from her owners. Diet: Currently on Science Diet. Medications: None. Social Behavior: She gets along well with other cats and dogs and has a generally easygoing temperament with other animals. She has not had significant exposure to young children, but due to her sensitivity to stress and change, a quieter home may be best. Additional Behavioral Notes: Allie’s inappropriate urination tends to occur at night when she is separated from us, as she strongly prefers to sleep in the same room as her owners. She is very attachment-oriented and seeks constant companionship, and this behavior appears to be linked to separation or routine disruption rather than a consistent litter box issue. Ideal Home: Allie would do best in a calm, stable home with a consistent routine and owners who are home often or able to give her regular attention. She thrives in low-stress environments and would benefit from a household that can provide predictability and companionship. Allie is: Neutered/Spayed, Vaccinated, Microchipped, Wet Food, Dry Food Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you're my perfect adopter please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Pamela at cheemers@gmail.com or (707) 498-6578. If you are unable to reach Pamela please email info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why?
