Story
🌸 Meet LaylaLayla is a 14‑year‑old long‑haired beauty who turns heads the moment she walks into a room. Her exact coat color is a bit of a mystery — she’s one of those cats whose fur seems to shift shades depending on the light — but what we do know is that she is undeniably gorgeous.More importantly, Layla is as sweet and gentle as they come. She loves calm company, soft voices, and the kind of quiet affection that makes her feel safe and adored.Because of her luxurious coat, Layla will need a home that can help her stay comfortable and mat‑free. She does get tangles easily, so regular brushing is a must — and she’ll happily soak up the extra attention.Layla is also in the early stages of kidney disease. She’s doing well and simply needs to stay on a special prescription diet (K/D) to support her health. She takes it all in stride and remains her soft, loving self.Layla is ready for a cozy, caring home where she can spend her golden years being cherished for the lovely, gentle soul she is.Layla's adoption fee is $0, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Meet this stunning beauty with a heart as soft as her luxurious coat.  Princess Buttercup is a gentle, calm girl who truly shines in a relaxed home.  While toys aren’t really her thing, she absolutely loves being doted on—head scratches, soft pets, and quiet companionship are her love language.  She’s the kind of cat who will happily sit with you and soak up affection for hours.  When not being adored she enjoys  perching herself on a cat tree quietly observing the world around her like the little princess she is.    Princess’ gorgeous coat is part of her charm, but it does require consistent grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best.  One should expect that she will require professional grooming.  If you’re looking for a serene, affectionate companion who prefers cuddles over chaos, she may be your perfect match.  An adopter with experience with the breed and a history of documented annual feline veterinary care is required. Local adoptions only. Adoption fee is $300  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 26, 2026, 3:10 pm
