Story
We are looking for the right home for our sweet cat, Lennon. He is roughly 3 years old and is a very large, fluffy, silly boy with lots of personality. He can be a bit skittish and is easily overwhelmed by other pets, young children, loud noises, and busy environments. We have two young children and have spent the past couple of years trying to help Lennon feel comfortable in our home, but unfortunately our house is simply a little too busy and chaotic for him to ever fully relax. He spends much of his day tucked away in our bedroom where things are quieter. With the adults he knows and trusts, Lennon is incredibly loving and affectionate. He cuddles with us every single night, is very talkative, loves having his belly scratched, and has such a funny, goofy personality once he feels safe. Lennon can also be scared and hesitant around new people, so we are specifically looking for someone who understands that gaining his trust may take some time. He needs a patient person who is willing to let him adjust at his own pace and put in the time to build a trusting relationship with him. Once that trust is there, he is such a sweet and loving companion. We would love to find him a calm, loving home where he can be the only pet and where there are no young children. We truly believe that with a quieter environment and someone willing to give him the patience and security he needs, Lennon could finally feel completely at ease and really thrive. Lennon lives with his family in Portland and his rehoming fee is $150. Lennon is inside only.
