Story
Meet Winston, a handsome ten-year-old male Flame Point Himalayan with a heart as warm as his coloring. Winston found himself in our care after his loving dad moved into an assisted living facility. His deep loyalty was on full display—he was so protective of his dad that he made it hard for the care staff to do their jobs! Winston is now settling into his foster home and is already showing us his sweet, affectionate side. Though a bit timid at first, he melts for pets and will even let his foster mom pick him up for a snuggle. He's been quietly exploring his new surroundings, making himself comfortable. Winston is currently getting some much-needed TLC! He arrived with some mats and minor eye infections (which is why his eyes look closed in his initial photos). Don't worry, we're getting him all fixed up, cleaned, vetted, and neutered—he'll be feeling like a king soon! This protective boy has been unbothered by the other cats and the dog in his foster home. Because of his history of fiercely guarding his person, we believe Winston would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home where he can focus all his love and loyalty on his new human. Keep an eye out for updates and new photos as this sweet, loyal boy begins his glow-up! Est DOB Jan. 2015 If the cat is under the age of 1 year old or has heath issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $ . covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. We only do adoptions on Saturday, and not all animals are able to attend, so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary, so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap so thank you for your understanding and helping us save as many as possible. Please email Lowcountryanimalrescue@ymail.com for an application.
We'll also keep you updated on Winston's adoption status with email updates.
