You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com Lily & her brother Nelson were surrendered to NTCR, they left a difficult home situation and needed some time to decompress. They are bonded and must go together. Lily depends on Nelson for comfort. She’s shy at first but doesn’t take long to come around. She very affectionate and loves to snuggle up next to foster Mom. She does not like being picked up. Loud noises, sudden movements all scare her. We believe it’s a reaction to her previous home life. She would do best in a home with no young children.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions. Please note: We appreciate all interest in our cats and kittens, but we are an all volunteer organization. Please be patient with regard to a call back. Should you need to surrender the cat you adopted from NTCR, please email us at surrenderNTCRcat@northtexascatrescue.com.May 20, 2025, 2:52 pm

Story
We got Enzo in 2019 and we had a big dog at the time and he hid all the time. Then our big dog passed away because of old age and Enzo was a very friendly cat. I thought he needed a friend so we got another Persian. Since then he has urinated in rooms whenever any kind of change happens. If one of us goes out of town and comes back in town that’s enough change for him to urinate in a room. We are in a rental house. We’ve been here for two years and he’s ruined all the carpets. My husband is at the end of cleaning and replacing carpets and he said I have to get him a new home. He is best being the only pet. He is not a cuddler, but will come up to you when he feels like it to get a pet.
