Story
We’ve had Lucy since she was about 6 months old, and she is about to turn 8 on August 23. She has been part of our family with our 5 kids, but she would do much better with a family that only has kids about 4 or older. She just doesn’t do as well with younger kids or toddlers. She is protective of her food to other dogs, and would love to either be adopted with her puppy little brother, Denny, or be the only dog in the home. She has never been around cats. She does have some skin allergies on her back that we have only tried to treat with vitamins. Because we have 5 children, our dogs have taken a backseat due to the busyness of our life. She would love to live out her days with some good TLC and a loving owner or family. She is smart and loves to fetch a tennis ball, but mostly enjoys laying around all day. We are moving to a different state for a job, and we need to rent a house, so we need to rehome her for that reason, but also because she would love more attention and care!

Story
I got Nyla when she was just about 10 weeks old from a person I installed some appliances for. Her mom is a Husky mix and her dad is a Labrador retriever. Nyla is about 2 years old now. The only other animal she has been around is a cat but she is very playful and the cat is not a fan. I am going back to college and working a full time job so I am not able to adequately care for her. I would prefer her to go to someone with a big backyard as she will do laps around my tiny backyard. Nyla is a loving, energetic dog that doesn't have even a single violent bone in her body. She is perfect for a family as she enjoys companionship.
