Story
Male Siberian husky needs a furever home! Name: Aires DOB July 1 2025. UTD on all shots and he is fixed. Madison AL Must have a yard! EXTREMELY ENERGETIC Aries story: I rescued him in North Carolina on August 27, 2025. I was only supposed to be a temporary home, never his forever home, but My Husband got transferred and I took the dog with us. As a puppy, he was abused, but he has no aggression toward other animals nor small children. His bestie is a cat, he is scared to death of a 2 pound Chihuahua. And he been with my 5 year old the whole time I had him. He has shown signs of food aggression but then he lets the cat eat with himI would like him to go with someone with husky experience. He doesn’t bite BUT he plays nips. He does jump up on people and he is all energy. he needs a high energy family He listens to a male voice better than mine. And he will walk on a leash but if he sees a squirrel he will yank me off my feet He could use obedience training. Ask for more information!

Story
Juniper is a gorgeous, sweet and gentle young lady, and she also happens to be deaf. Being deaf doesn't bother her though, she's so smart that she already knows hand signals for commands AND she's housebroken. This little gal will just need a family that can continue to teach her with hand signals and she'll be a wonderful family addition! If you are interested in adopting Juniper, please click the link and submit an adoption application! ** Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.

Story
Meet adoptable Kylie (A562405) This gorgeous girl arrived as a stray with a known owner who has opted to not reclaim her. Now, she is available for adoption and would love to find a nice loving home that will keep her safe for the rest of her days. Kylie`s finder spent time with her, and informed us that she is a good car rider. She knows how to load right up, and will remain in the backseat for the duration of the ride. Like most dogs, she enjoys sticking her head out the window and watching the world pass. We also know that Kylie is both crate trained and house trained which is fantastic for families who want to adopt, but don`t necessarily want to have to replace their carpet in a few months. Here at the shelter, Kylie has proven herself to be as sweet as they come. She loves spending time with staff both in her kennel and outdoors. Outside, Kylie enjoys running around and feeling the sun on her back. We haven`t had a chance to see her with other dogs in the play yards just yet, but so far she has proven herself to be a social butterfly, and we believe she would do just fine in a home with other dogs. Kylie is a husky mix, so we ask adopters to be aware of this when considering adoption. Huskies not only shed, but are known to be escape artists. We ask that any family that adopts Kylie be prepared to keep her contained by ensuring she is leashed on walks and supervised in fenced areas. If this is something you can do, please stop in to meet this sweet girl today!Kylie is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs 50 pounds. All animals adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are microchipped, appropriately vaccinated, spayed/neutered and given a 30 day flea/tick preventative.Ready to meet Kylie? Stop by 4950 Triana Blvd SW in Huntsville, Alabama. No appointment is necessary to meet our available animals. All adopters must be 19 years or older and be able to provide a valid ID.

Story
🤍 Meet Talia! 🤍 If you’ve ever wanted a best friend who doubles as a comedian, professional conversationalist, and part-time drama queen, Talia is your girl! This gorgeous fluffy white Husky mix is the complete package: beautiful, playful, sweet, and just the right amount of sassy. Talia fully embraces her Husky heritage and has absolutely no problem sharing her opinions. Whether she’s singing you the song of her people, providing commentary on your daily activities, or dramatically expressing her feelings about snack distribution, life with Talia is never boring. Talia loves to play, show off her goofy side, and make everyone around her laugh. She has a big personality wrapped up in an even bigger fluffy coat. One minute she’s zooming around the yard having the time of her life, and the next she’s flashing that gorgeous smile and asking for attention. If you’re looking for a dog with beauty, humor, and enough personality to keep you entertained for years to come, Talia is ready to steal your heart (and probably have a few opinions about where it should be stored). Apply to meet this fluffy, funny girl and get ready for a lifetime of Husky-style adventures!
