Story
Otis is my absolute best friend in the whole world and I want nothing but the best for him which is ultimately what has led me to this decision. He was rescued at about 5 months old as a stray, so we really don’t know his exact age, and we weren’t sure his breed. He bonded to me immediately and I took him home that day. Since having him, we have come to learn he is a German shepherd husky mix, which explains his energy. He is the sweetest most loving guy, but he does resource guard me, he is extremely protective of me. Because of this he doesn’t get out much, I also have a very small backyard, and I work 40-50 hours a week, so his current quality of life is just not great. He goes to daycare a few times a week and he loves it, but he needs more than just that. The thought of losing him breaks my heart in a million pieces, but I know that there is someone out there with a lifestyle that is more suited to his needs, where he can play and run as much as his heart desires.

Story
Meet FREEDOM ! This sweet baby girl was running the streets of south Phoenix for 2 weeks before we could catch her. She was covered in engine oil and filth , she had several matted patches and looks as though she never had a grooming before . She has been shy throughout this entire process, I truly don’t see where she was ever properly trained or ever learned how to be a dog . We worked on crate training and dog door training and she has mastered both of those ! We are working on leash and traveling in the car , and she is getting better with each trip . She will need someone who can help her become her best version ! She will need help with exposure to the outside world and help on building her confidence. She does great with other dogs that are her size or smaller . She is a little timid of larger dogs but With the right person and dog she can overcome that .She is still very much a puppy and loves to play with toys and needs items to keep her occupied . She has been fully shaved to give her a reset on her coat and confidence. If you would like to find out more about Freedom , and discuss details you can email us or contact her foster mom at 602-736-9523 Her adoption fee is $400 and that includes her spay , DAPPV , Bordatella , Rabies , deworming, a microchip and a full adopt bag of items to go home with .

Story
We rescued Calypso from the shelter about 4 months ago. She is 2 years old and a very sweet, loving girl who wants to be wherever you are. She's wonderful with our kids, loves attention, thinks she's a lap dog, and loves ice!Calypso seems to have had a difficult past and needs patience and confidence-building. She gets along great with one of our huskies, but struggles with our other strong-willed husky. We unfortunately don't have the time or experience to give them both the training they need. She's afraid to go outside alone and may have accidents if you don't go with her. We're looking for a patient, loving home, preferably with someone experienced with huskies, who can give her the training, reassurance, and attention she deserves.
