Story
DOB: 5/6/2025 Breed: Husky/Pitbull mix-Spayed female 26lbs-Microchipped & fully vaccinated-Negative for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, and on a monthly preventative*Adoption Fee $350*A little bit about me… Hi there, I’m Anaise! Just like my cartoon namesake, I’m the smart and gentle one of the bunch. I came here with my two silly brothers, Gumball and Darwin. We have already faced one of our toughest challenges together, we’re proud Parvo survivors! I’ll admit, I’m a little on the shy side. New people and loud places can make me nervous, so I take my time to feel safe. But once I know I can trust you, my sweet and loving side truly shines. I’ll be happiest in a home where patience and kindness are part of the daily routine. I love playing with other pups in playgroups, and I’m starting to learn that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. With a gentle hand and a big heart guiding me, I just know I’ll grow into the most loyal and affectionate companion ever. If you’re ready for a gentle soul who just needs a little time to bloom, pick me!The highlights…-I get spooked easily-Very sweet once comfortable -I take time to warm up to new people-I will need all basic trainingKey points to know…-Patience and gentle confidence are key: She will need time and consistency to feel safe in her new home. Avoid forcing interactions. Instead, let her approach at her own pace. Use calm voices, slow movements, and positive reinforcement so she learns that new experiences can be good ones.-Structure will help her feel secure: Establish a predictable routine for meals, walks, and quiet time. This consistency helps her understand what to expect each day, which reduces anxiety and builds trust. A stable environment will help her confidence grow over time,-Socialization should be slow and positive: Introduce her to new people, places, and other pets gradually, always pairing new experiences with treats and praise. Avoid crowded or loud settings until she’s ready.

Story
Sweet little Gwen, at only 1 1/2, was set to be euthanized for being scared. This sweet Corgi mix is a perfect size at about 27 lbs. Slowly, with patience, she is blossoming into a joyful and confident girl. Despite her great fear, she has shown no aggression. The grass she was afraid to walk on is now her playground. She has learned to use the doggy door and comes and goes outside all through the day. She needs a bit of time when experiencing something new but amazes us at how fast she learns. She is house-trained and walks well on a leash. She struggled at first in the kennel alone, but does well now. Gwen will bark when new people come over, but warms up quickly. She has gotten along well with the 18 pound terrier and 50 pound doodle she lives with. She has not been around cats, but doesn't react to them on walks. She would love another dog in her new home, but would be fine as an only dog. The greatest desire she has is to be loved and to be with her family. She is a wonderful mix of playfulness and a couch potato. She would prefer a home where she can snuggle next to you on the couch. Bailey will thrive in a home that understands she is still young and needing more training. She still gets nervous and needs someone who will work with her. She is as sweet and fun as they come and will make an incredible companion.
