Story
*Husky or similar breed experience REQUIRED!* Meet our super handsome Husky boy named Cody! Cody is about 4 years old and he was surrendered to our shelter because his owner needed to get surgery and could not care for Cody after this. Cody is a fun dog who loves to get zoomies outside! He has beautiful blue eyes and a fluffy coat. Cody can be an affectionate dog and he will cuddle in your lap on the couch. He hasn't shown much interest in tennis balls, but he is liking stuffed toys. Cody is an active boy who is looking for a family who has experience owning Huskies or similar breed types. He is good with other dogs and tested non reactive in our cat room. Cody can go to a home with children 12 years old and older. If you are interested in adopting Cody, Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! His adoption fee is $75.00. PLEASE CHECK YOU EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! MAC IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
