🐾 Meet Mia! Your Next Adventure Buddy! 💙Meet Mia, a beautiful Husky who's ready for a fresh start and a family who will stick by her side! This girl has energy to spare, a loving personality, and a whole lot of life left to live. She's looking for an active home that understands what it means to have a Husky and is ready to help her be the best dog she can be!Unfortunately, Mia was dumped after being adopted from a shelter in South Bend. Thankfully, the shelter was wonderful to work with and provided us with information about Mia, along with permission to help her find a new home. Now, we're hoping her next chapter will be the one that finally sticks. ❤️Mia is a very active, affectionate girl who needs more than just a place to sleep. Huskies are intelligent, energetic dogs who need exercise, training, mental stimulation, and opportunities to use their brains. Mia will need a family willing to put in the time to help her thrive, whether that's through long walks, fun training sessions, enrichment activities, or other adventures together. A secure space to play and explore would be a big plus, too!The good news? Mia is house-trained! She's got a great starting point and is ready to keep learning with a family who will give her consistency and guidance.As for other animals, Mia has been tested around cats. She showed interest in them but was also able to relax, so cats may be possible with careful introductions, supervision, and the right match. We would still recommend monitoring interactions closely. Her compatibility with other dogs is currently unknown, so a proper introduction would be important before considering a home with another dog.Mia has so much potential, but she needs a home that understands her needs and is ready to commit to her for the long haul. Huskies are gorgeous, fun, loving dogs, but they aren't a good fit for every lifestyle.
