Sky is 9 months old. She has a lot of energy and needs space to run around as much as possible. She is very playful and needs lots of affection and attention. She enjoys playing with other dogs. She tends to chase cats and want to play with them, I wouldn’t recommend having other cats with her though. She has escaped our invisible fence a few times and has gone for the neighbors chickens which has become an issue. She is a bit of a hunter and has recently caught several squirrels and chipmunks. She has a gastro issue so requires Science Diet Gastrobiome Food. She has a sensitive stomach.

This beautiful Husky mix came to us as a stray, and while we may never know what her journey looked like before she arrived, we know that right now, the world can feel like a very big, very scary place to her. New people, unfamiliar sounds, and all the changes around her can be overwhelming. Lenore isn't the kind of girl who will immediately run up to greet you with a wagging tail. Instead, she needs something a little more special: time, patience, and someone willing to let her find her courage at her own pace. 💕 Imagine being so unsure of the world that your first instinct is to run from it. That's where Lenore is right now. But being scared doesn't mean she doesn't have love to give. It simply means she'll need a little help discovering that she doesn't have to face everything alone. Lenore will need a thoughtful, patient adopter who understands that trust isn't built in a day. She's also a flight risk, so keeping her safe will be incredibly important. Secure equipment, careful handling, and a commitment to preventing escapes will help give her the protection she needs while she learns to feel comfortable. In return, her future family may get to experience one of the most beautiful things there is: watching a frightened dog slowly discover that she's finally home. 🥹 Lenore doesn't need someone to fix her.
