Story
- Playful guy who loves pets and attention; loves to be busy and connect with people through play and other activities - Knows sit, stay, shake, down and come and loves learning with treats - Does best with a harness on walks - Young, noisy or busy children may be too much for him; would benefit from a more mature home that can help him settle and work on calm behaviors - Can be socially awkward around other dogs (dog intro required) The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: Black Weight: 57 Age: 4yrs 7mths 0wks

Story
- Goofy, energetic boy who loves giving kisses and playing with rope toys and squeaky toys - May prefer to explore and do his own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once he's in a home environment and has had time to decompress - Knows sit - Does best with a harness on walks - Was mostly housetrained in his previous home but would occasionally have accidents - Not a fan of crowds or loud noises and would seek out his family for comfort - Prefers not to be disturbed while sleeping or resting; needs an adults-only home right now - Tends to be socially awkward and a linebacker-type player with other dogs; will likely do best with a select group of rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style (dog intro required) - Has lived with cats and has generally coexisted with them, although he had been known to engage in rough play behaviors, like pawing and mouthing; may do OK with a confident, dog-savvy cat after a slow introductionThe ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: Grey Weight: 50 Age: 6yrs 1mths 0wks
