Koda Bear is big, furry, friendly, and TRAINED! 🐻
This handsome guy already knows his commands thanks to a board-and-train program completed by his previous owner. He could use a little brushing up on his leash manners, but overall, Koda Bear is an incredibly intelligent and trainable guy who is eager to please.
Koda Bear came to HSOC as an owner surrender after his owner experienced multiple health complications and was no longer able to care for a dog, especially one as large as Koda.
And speaking of large… Koda Bear weighs around 90 pounds! He does need to lose several pounds to get to a healthier weight, but underneath all that fluff is a German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix. So yes, he sheds. A LOT. 😂 He even comes with non-purebred AKC papers, if that's something you're into!
This big lovable oaf is good with other dogs and children, and he's both crate trained and housetrained. He has plenty of manners already under his belt and is ready to find a family who will continue giving him the structure, exercise, and love he deserves.
Like all HSOC dogs, Koda Bear comes with his age-appropriate vaccinations, neuter, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, a microchip, and all the support you need to help make the transition into his new home a successful one.
Koda Bear is also eligible for free follow-up training through HSOC if you find yourself needing a little help along the way. Although, with a guy this smart, we think you'll be pretty well off with Koda just the way he is!
