Meet Bolt! Bolt is a 7-year-old, medium-sized Husky mix who’s been described by those who know him best as an absolute hoot! He may have a little life experience under his belt, but don’t let that fool you — he still loves his daily walks, taking in all the sniffs, and proudly performing his “dog duties.” Bolt is a social guy who enjoys meeting new people and will happily join you for a stroll or a quick romp in the yard. Afterwards, he’s more than content to kick back and relax by your side — quality time with his favorite human is his favorite reward. This smart, loyal boy is a proud graduate of the Paws Behind Bars training program, where he learned how to be the best companion he can be and discovered how much he loves pleasing his person. He’s fully potty trained, crate trained, rides like a champ in the car, and simply enjoys being part of whatever’s going on. Bolt gets along with other dogs when introduced properly, though he’s more of a “hangout buddy” than a playmate. However, he’s not a fan of cats or small animals, so a feline-free home is best for him. TITUS came into rescue from a hoarding case. He was somewhat under-socialized and had never been off of the owner's property. At 4 years old and around 65 pounds, this boy is like a blossoming flower! He is absorbing everything his dog trainer in the Paws Behind Bars Prison Training Program is teaching him and is morphing into a friendly, playful, wonderful companion dog! He is good with other dogs of all sizes and is house trained / potty trained and knows obedience commands such as "down, touch, sit, wait" and more! He would love a fenced in yard where he can run and play and an owner that knows the Husky breed would be helpful! He has not been destructive in our care like some in this breed can be. Titus is a beautiful boy and deserves a family that will give him attention and take him on walks / hikes. Yes he loves the snow and has had a good time this winter since there has been plenty of it! He loves playing with toys and being around his human(s). He has lived in a home with cats and older kids and is said to be good with other dogs! He is completely potty trained and does well hanging out around the house without a crate except the occasional trash picking. We've had him since two weeks. We tried to train him without the leash and was doing amazing, but as he got older grew habits and wasn't behaving. Is a good puppy, but with time we didnt have patience or anything to go and train him properly. Ive have multiple dogs and were pure bred but he's different since he's a mutt and is a mixed breed. So he's not what were used to with the habitual things from a German shepherd or Siberian Huskies. He will let you know when he wants to use the bathroom, but he doesn't always use it. He tends to always wanna be outside but likes to be inside when its fitting to him. He's a bit vocal too but isnt aggressive. If you give him food and water, hell immediately finish it and you'll have to wait 10 minutes until he pesters you that he wants to go outside. He has bad habits like not beig trained without a leash, peeing/pooping in the house and eating wood, leaves, etc. anything he can chew on. Does know to Sit, lay down, paw, etc.

Roko is a sweet and friendly dog, he enjoys playing with his sister and anyone who is friendly with him. He’s a bit camera shy, can be a little messy too but he’s a good dog and wants to be around you. He has never been separated from his sister I prefer that they both stick together. It’s going to be hard for us to part ways since I’m the only person who took care of them and I hope someone will give them as much love as I did.
