Meet Gravy! Gravy is a loyal pup who enjoys being around his humans (adults and children)! Gravy has briefly lived with other dogs and was selective of those he wanted to be friends with- he seemed to prefer the females. A dog on dog meet and greet would be highly recommended with any resident dogs he may go home with. He has briefly met cats and shown a prey drive towards them. Due to this Gravy should be in a cat free home. Slow and proper introductions are always recommended whenever introducing a new animal to the home. He can catch a treat in his mouth, and he rarely will miss; this guy is very treat-motivated, which will help a ton with further training! He loves spending time outside (did someone say hiking buddy?). He loves playing with toys but doesn't always want to share with his fellow pups. Gravy's favorite thing? Snuggling his humans. He has been described as a sweetheart. Like most Huskies, he gets bored quite easily and needs enrichment to keep his active mind busy. He is not a fan of being kenneled but doesn't have a history of kennel training. He may do well in a crate with consistent training and positive interactions with his kennel. He is working on potty training and does best on a routine/schedule. *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
