Story
Meet Pancake! He came to us a stray, so we don't know much about his history. We are unsure how he would do around cats or young children. He came in with another dog and was friendly with them. All introductions should be slow and proper when bringing home new animals. Ask staff for tips! Come meet Pancake today! *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals. Meet Tobi – Your Next Cuddle Buddy & Serenade Star! Age: 8 years | Breed: Shepherd Mix | Weight: ~60 lbs Adoption Fee: $275 (Thanks to a generous sponsor who covered $100!) Spayed: Yes Hello there! My name is Tobi , and I’m on the search for a new forever home after my previous owner passed away. Life hasn’t been the same since, but I haven’t lost my loving heart or hopeful spirit. I know there’s someone out there who can give me the calm, caring home I’m dreaming of. I’m a super-friendly gal who lives for belly rubs, cuddles, and quality time with my people. I may be 8, but I’ve got plenty of love (and a little bit of sass) to share. One thing you should know—I’ve got a voice ! I’m known for “singing” when I get lonely or excited, so if you're looking for a dog with a little personality (and a vocal range), I just might be your girl. I get along well with larger dogs though I need my own feeding space and I am looking for a cat free home . I’m potty trained (with a good routine), I can be crate trained I'm currently just taking glucosamine to keep me feeling good. Tobi would thrive in a home where she can feel safe, loved, and part of the family. She’s ready to give her whole heart to the right person—could that be you? Ready to meet Tobi and welcome her sweet, soulful presence into your life? Apply today and give this lovely girl the second chance she deserves. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.)  Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine.  $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.   Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience.  We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation.  Once you submit your application, our adoption manager will be in touch, so please check your spam folder if you do not see something from us within 7-10 days.  Thank you again for your interest in a Grey Face senior. We appreciate your support!   October 11, 2025, 9:59 pm

Story
Location: Prior Lake, MN Hi, I’m Tonie! I’m just one big happy girl who is eager to please and play. I recently arrived from the Rez and really enjoy running around the yard getting my zoomies out. I am starting to play catch with my foster mom, and really loving playing with toys. I have some energy, so an active family will be best for me to thrive. I can also be relaxed, and love to chew on a bone and take a good nap in the sun. Especially on the chillier days I love sleeping outside, it feels like home. I’m am very dog friendly, eager to make friends and have play dates. I am so happy to be safe and loved. I have grown fond of the kids here and they love to play with calling me the “husky police dog. ” I am working on my training - learning to not be so jumpy and to sit! I have a lot of motivation to listen to commands and come to my name very well. I’m continuing my crate training but do very well in my own area with a bed. Overall, I am such a spunky happy girl with a lot of potential to grow into a fantastic dog with some good training and lots of love. If you’re looking for a fun, happy go lucky girl, then that could be me! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. Story
Location: North Mankato, MN Hi, my name is Kaya! I am a super sweet 3-year-old husky mix. I love to run and frolic in the yard, I would do better with a fenced in yard because I love to explore and sniff all the things. I'm starting to open up and play with my foster siblings, who are relatively calm pups. However, others puppy energy makes me nervous and I tend to freeze up and not know how to handle it. I would do fine alone or with other calm energy dogs as long as I have somewhere to run! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: St Paul, MN Shalla is an old soul with a youthful heart. There’s a gentle wisdom about her that’s apparent the moment you see her—but step closer, and she’ll happily surprise you with joyful hops and rapid‑fire kisses. She’s the kind of dog who reminds you that some hearts stay forever young. Shalla has spent much of her life being a devoted mama, and now it’s her turn to be cared for. And care for her you will—because she is stunning. From her beautifully lined eyes to her glowing golden coat, she turns heads wherever she goes. We aren’t quite sure of her breed, but she has the majestic face of a wolf paired with big, elegant paws—though she’s not especially tall. Her coat is thick, sleek, and surprisingly easy to maintain considering how full it is. Shalla would thrive in a home with people around most of the time. She loves kids and enjoys being part of the action. She’s polite with other dogs—she likes them well enough but doesn’t necessarily need a canine companion to be happy. What she does need is togetherness. Shalla doesn’t love being alone, and adopters should be prepared to use a heavy‑duty crate and possibly medication when away from home. Aside from that, she is an amazing, well‑behaved dog who simply wants to be close to her people. And yes—we know you’re wondering—she has had zero accidents. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will soak up every moment by your side, Shalla is ready to finally be someone’s “baby.” --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
**Hi, I'm Remington... but my friends call me Remi!** I like to think of myself as the perfect combination of couch potato and adventure buddy. My mornings are very structured: breakfast, followed immediately by an important nap. Once I've recharged my batteries, I'm happy to spend the day hanging out with my people before gearing up for afternoon adventures. Whether it's a hike, camping trip, car ride, or just tossing a ball around the backyard, I'm all in. Fetch is one of my favorite games, and if there are friendly dogs around who want to run and wrestle, even better! I've never met a stranger—I love making new human friends almost as much as canine ones. When I'm feeling extra affectionate, I'll gently paw your leg or dramatically flop over for belly rubs (my absolute favorite form of payment). I may occasionally forget my manners and jump up when I'm *really* excited to see my favorite people, but I've been working hard on keeping all four paws on the ground. At home, I'm a dream roommate. I'm house-trained, crate-trained, know several commands (especially if snacks are involved), and I'm happy to quietly hang out while you work. I do have a bit of selective hearing when treats aren't on the menu, but honestly... can you blame me? One thing to know about me: I have a high prey drive, so cats and other small critters are a little too exciting for me. I also think squirrels are highly suspicious and deserve to be investigated immediately. One of my cutest quirks? I rarely bark while I'm awake, but apparently my dream life is incredibly exciting. I bark in my sleep, twitch my paws like I'm running, and somehow make napping look like an extreme sport. I also love supervising the household from the top step of the stairs like the world's cutest security guard. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who's just as happy joining you on outdoor adventures as she is relaxing at home by your side, I think we're going to have a whole lot of fun together.
