Story
Hi there… I’m Dana! I’m a sweet, smart, and affectionate girl with the most gorgeous blue eyes and a whole lot of love to give. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, especially men and kids, but if you give me a little patience, some tasty treats, and let me move at my own pace, I warm up quickly and bond fast with my person. Once I trust you, I’m all about snuggles and will happily curl up in your lap like I’m a tiny little puppy. I’m a very intelligent girl and I love learning new things. I already know sit, down, and touch, and I’m picking up new skills quickly because I’m eager to please. I’d love a home that will keep helping me learn through fun training, games, and maybe even agility work someday. I’m playful, goofy, and full of energy. I LOVE tennis balls, am learning that fetch is pretty awesome, and have a blast running around with my dog friends. I’m also great on car rides and would love to tag along on all your adventures. I sleep quietly in my kennel all night and I’m doing really well with potty training. I’m still working on feeling more comfortable spending time in my kennel during the day, so I’ll need a little patience as I keep building confidence. I can be curious and love having things to keep my busy mind occupied, so plenty of toys, enrichment, and gentle guidance will help me continue to thrive. I do well with other dogs, seem to do fine with cats, and would thrive with a patient family who can help build my confidence and continue showing me the world is a safe and exciting place. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, clever companion with stunning blue eyes and a big heart, I might just be your girl. Love, Dana

Aurelia, affectionately called Lia, is your girl! At just 36 lbs, she’s the perfect petite package with all the beauty and personality you love. Aurelia is incredibly affectionate and bonds quickly with her person — once she picks you, she’ll happily follow you everywhere. She loves being part of the action and is a loyal little shadow. She’s completely potty trained and kennel trained, making her an easy addition to your home. Aurelia gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and enjoys having canine friends. She does show a bit too much interest in cats, so a cat-free home would likely be best. True to her husky roots, her recall could use some work — so a secure yard or leash walks are important.Aurelia is a fun, easygoing gal who would thrive with a family looking for a sweet, devoted companion with a playful spark. To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org June 27, 2026, 7:05 pm

Please read our Frequently Asked Questions and Adoption Processed Explained documentation. _________ B I O ______________  Name: Kojak Size: (Once fully grown) ~ Large range: 61-100 lbs  Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included) PLUS a $100 deposit is required and is to be refunded once proof of spay/neuter is provided to this rescue. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate. Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.   Other:  Intact Male, Vaccinations current, Microchip  Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption:      8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption.   12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.   16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.    6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery.  **  Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations.    **Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice.   ** At the time of his wellness exam Kojak only had one testicle descended. It should be monitored by his vet and if it is not descended by the time of his neuter he will require cryptorchid surgery to remove it from the abdomen or inguinal area. This will add $100-$200 on to the cost of the neuter depending on the vet. This will be done at the adopter's expense.   Kojak wants to love you.   Foster Home Feedback  6/11/2026 Foster Feedback: Little Kojak isn’t so little anymore, he’s growing fast! If you want to enjoy some puppy time you must adopt him soon. He's playful, funny to watch outside exploring the world around him. Kojak enjoys playing with the bigger dogs. I sit outside and watch them just because he's still little... We are working on potty training. Kojak is teething, so he really likes to chew on bones and sometimes my hands and ankles too. He does kennel well. He likes to bark to get my attention.  Kojak would love a home to call his own with a family that will love him forever!   5/18/26 Foster Feedback: Kojak likes to be held, and his foster mom is enjoying that. He’s doing well in his kennel, he’ll bark a little before settling in.  He likes being outside and wandering around, but he doesn’t go far from his foster.  Once he goes outside, he potties right away. He watches the other dogs play — he’s just too little to join in right now. Kojak is ready for someone who wants a small, sweet puppy to grow with. Who’s ready to adopt this little guy? Kojak would love to go on some adventures with you!To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org June 27, 2026, 7:05 pm
