Story
Hi everyone! I’m Azula I may not breathe blue fire like my Airbender namesake, but I do have a special power—my loving blue gaze that will absolutely melt your heart (just ask my foster mom!). I’m a 40 pound, 1-year-old Lab/Husky mix with a playful spirit and a big, affectionate heart. I love being around my people and will happily stick close by for pets, cuddles, and attention. I didn’t get nearly enough attention in the shelter after i was abandoned, so I’m soaking it all up now.  I also get along great with other dogs and enjoy having playmates! Kids? I like them too! I can get a little excited when meeting new friends and might jump up at first, so I’d do best with slightly older kiddos or a family who can help me practice polite greetings. Fetch, tug, and chase are all top-tier games in my book. But if I’m being honest… treats are everything. I love them, which makes me a fast learner! In just the first week in my foster home, I learned Sit, Crate, Shake, and Touch—and I’m excited to keep learning more. I walk nicely on a leash and settle down quietly in my crate—pretty impressive, right? I’m still working on a few things: I’m not a big fan of car rides or baths, but I handle them like a champ when needed.  I like cats a little too much, so a cat-free home would be best for me. Story
Hello! My name is Tula Bean and I came from Cambodia during the pandemic. I was found wandering the streets of Cambodia with my brother back when I was a puppy. I’m not sure who my parents are, but I found a nice person and moved to the United States in 2021. Up until recently, I had been living with a family but I am uncomfortable around small children. We tried for two years, but my family thought it best to find a home where I could be happier. I love to be outside, take walks and hikes, play with squeaky ball toys, and sofa time with my foster family and dogs. I am shy around new people, requiring time and patience to warm up to a new environment. My foster parents say that I have the personality of a Shiba Inu and Corgi, and will do best as an only dog with no cats or young children. I prefer to be the boss of the household. Thai Ridgeback breeds are selective of their people, loyal, intelligent, and very active. They love to chase small critters and would do extremely well in agility courses. Her zoomies are the greatest thing ever! Tula Bean will do well in an active home but understands if she needs to hang out in a crate while her people work. She is also housetrained and has so far done well in the car with her new foster mom. Tula Bean is VERY treat motivated, learns fast, and is coming up to us for attention. Have we mentioned how soft she is? She will not be attending PAWS adoption events, so please reach out to schedule a meet and greet with Tula Bean today! Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start June 11, 2026, 11:48 am

Story
Hi, I’m Mars! I am a friendly boy and I like to be your little shadow. I am a quick learner and doing well on leash walking and potty training. I learned a few tricks like sit, touch, and down. I am working on crate training and meeting new animals because sometimes I bork bork at them, but I am learning to be calm around new friends. I am living with dogs of all sizes and ages and learning how to be a respectable young man. I have a big ol’ head but it’s more rectangular (not rounded like a pittie). I would probably do well in a home with other dogs who tolerate puppies, and any humans including kids. I haven’t met a cat yet- bet I will bork at them at first and then probably be fine. I hope to meet my new family soon! More info about Mars: DOB: 2/7/26 estimated Weight: 26 lbs, puppy weight calculator says he should mature around 90 Breed: mom was a lab or lab mix (photos at end), dad is unknown but maybe a hound/husky mix (his brother, Snickers, has a blue eye and they will have medium length fur).   Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start June 11, 2026, 11:48 am
