This sweet boy was found just wandering the streets. He was found without a collar or a microchip. He is affectionate and loving. All he wants is to be touched and to be near the humans. He has been great with people so far. I have introduced him to men, woman, and children. He has been doing well with my small dog, and he did well with other big dogs at the vaccine clinic along with play dates at a boarding facility I work at. He avoids my cats, and doesn't seem bothered by my outdoor feral cat community. He has been in my care for about a week. He has lots of that puppy energy, and would thrive in a household with either other bigger dogs, or a sturdy child. We are working on not jumping, and not bolting out the door. He is successfully learning crate training, house training and how to ride in a car. He is treat motivated, loves a good cuddle on the couch, and squeaky toys. He is current on his vaccines, heartworm negative, and is on heartgard.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.He’s the perfect mix, of what you may ask? Your guess is as good as mine! Definitely thinking some Husky in there somewhere with his blue eyes and he can be quite the talker at times.  Please be sure to watch his video to get a better idea of his personality!  Kevin is guesstimated to be a year old, he’s neutered, crate-trained and house-trained (ZERO accidents). He’s about 65 pounds right now and could probably fill out a little more too. He knows basic commands and he’s even been working on his self control with commands like “wait” and “OK”. He’s really smart and he likes to learn too. He loves to be outside. Zoomies around the pool? Yes! Admiring his reflection in the water? Also yes. He would LOVE a big backyard with lots of room to run and if it comes with squirrels to chase- DREAM COME TRUE! Kevin goes fast during the day but he really could go for a movie night with you too, he really just wants to be included with the fam. He loves a big soft comfy dog bed, but he loves them so much he can’t be left unattended with them- he’s still learning not to eat everything we love. He would thrive with an active family who will continue working with him, include him in their routine, and give him structure and lots of love. If there’s another doggo in the fam, he would do best with one that can match his vibes- he’s a big boy so he has BIG LOVE and energy too. Kevin has shown a lot of interest in cats… we’re just not totally sure how interested yet. Gorgeous snow white coat, mesmerizing ice blue eyes and tons of love to share! Krypto is a stunning 2 year old Husky weighing in at approx 55lbs. He's got the spirited personality and all the classic charm of his breed. True to his Husky nature, he is independent, curious, and at times a bit stubborn. He's also silly and playful and absolutely loves affection. He loves all his dog friends in his foster home and he has met, and done well with, kids as young as 10. His feline compatibility is unknown. Krypto is crate trained, but it's not his favorite place to be and he will voice his displeasure at times as only huskys can. He is housebroken. He does ok with baths, but he doesn't love them. He loves to be outdoors (shocking, we know) so Krypto would love an active family who appreciates his zest for life and can keep him busy with adventures, exercise, and love. ⭐️ If you have never been owned by a husky, please research the breed before applying to adopt. ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** Adoption fee is $300 All dogs are fully vetted before leaving rescue (vaccinations, spay or neuter and microchip).
