Story
Tripp is a handsome husky with a gentle heart and a lot of appreciation for a good belly rub. He’s a total gentleman on leash, and once in the play yard he turns into an independent explorer. He’s happy to wander around and check things out, but he’s always super sweet and enjoys coming back for attention. He’s always happy to show off for a treat too! He’s very smart and already knows how to sit and lay on command – sometimes he’s so happy to show off he does a little happy dance while obeying. Treats definitely motivate him, and he takes them gently from your hand. Tripp isn’t much for toys, but he is a big fan of affection. Since he’s currently dealing with some (noncontagious) skin issues, you know what that means… extra belly rubs are wanted! He absolutely melts when you scratch his belly and give him some love. He`s also done well meeting other dogs in shelter playgroups, and gives off calm, relaxed vibes. With his medium energy level and sweet personality, Tripp would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a super sweet best friend.

Story
Blitz is as stunning as they come – he’s a beautiful white Husky with striking blue eyes that are sure to stop you in your tracks. But beyond his good looks, Blitz has a gentle, thoughtful personality that really shines. He’s great on a leash, and seems to be a more laid back kind of guy. He’s perfectly content to take in the world around him or quietly entertain himself with some sniffing and exploring. He has a low to medium energy level, and really enjoys pets and affection. Blitz doesn’t seem to know any tricks just yet, but he’s attentive and will happily focus for treats or a squeaky toy. He’ll even chase after a toy from time to time, though he tends to lose interest quickly and go back to doing his own thing. Blitz has proven to be a total gentleman around other dogs in shelter playgroups.

Story
Cash has come a long way, and it really shows the moment you meet him. This once very shy boy now walks calmly right up to greet you at his kennel door, ready to see what you’re all about. He’s easy to leash up, walks nicely without pulling, and carries himself with a quiet, easygoing presence that makes spending time with him feel peaceful and simple. He’s still a gentle, sensitive soul at heart, but his confidence has grown so much. Cash readily accepts pets and will happily stay right by your side soaking up attention for as long as you’re willing to give it. He’s so gentle when taking treats from your hand. He may still flinch at big or sudden movements, but that’s nothing compared to how skittish he was when he first arrived at FBCAS. He doesn’t know any tricks just yet, but he’s attentive and observant, content to quietly take in the world around him. Cash has a low energy level and is perfectly happy to entertain himself, but he’s grown to appreciate human company as well. He’s done well around other dogs in shelter playgroups – he’s calm, if a bit socially awkward – and has proven that he can happily coexist with them, even if he’s not the life of the party. Cash has come so far, and the progress he’s made is something special! He’d thrive with someone patient and kind to help him continue to build confidence. If you’re looking for a calm, sweet companion who will quietly blossom by your side, Cash might just be your guy.
