Story
**Forest is a Patient Paw, please ask about their reduced adoption fee and the possibility of a sleepover!**Age: 3 yearsWeight: 21.3 kgA little bit about Forest: - kids unknown, all interactions should be supervised by an adult - cats / small animals unknown - limited history with other dogs, potential for select dog in home pending successful dog-to-dogMeet Forest, the delightfully mischievous yet adventurous boy who'd love to make himself comfortable in your home and heart! Due to a hard past, Forest is a little bit selective about people. But given the chance to get to know you, he soon turns into a silly goofball that loves to be active! Watching him bound through the snow is as thrilling for him as it is entertaining to us! Exercise and enrichment will be very important to keeping his smart brain busy. Given there is a very limited history on Forest, it's unknown how he'd do in a home with children or other pets, so any and all introductions need to be done slowly and with proper supervision by an adult. A family that has experience with Huskies is a plus as they are notoriously stubborn, very vocal, and escape artists. Don't let that deter you from the love and fun that comes with adopting Forest! Will you be the lucky person that gets to receive it and take Forest home?

Story
Beautiful husky girl Chiquita, born April 2023, is looking for a home. She is approximately 41 lbs. Her mum and littermates were often seen wandering in the area of the SPCA PV sanctuary and staff and volunteers saw them in deteriorating condition due to a diet heavy on garbage and took them in to give them the care they needed. After she got refuge in the sanctuary, she lived through a hurricane which heavily damaged the shelter, and she had temporary refuge in a home that unfortunately had a landlord that didn't allow dogs.. but in that time, she learned what a home is and what it is meant to be loved. Chiquita is an energetic girl so she’d love a yard with some space to burn off some zoomies but was in a foster home in an apartment. She loves the beach. Her foster mom just loved her, described her as a fast learner, and a great cuddler. She has learned basic commands - sit, come, waits to eat her food. She isn't destructive in the home and did well in the car. She is selective with other dogs, and can be reactive, and would squabble with her siblings. Kids make her nervous so she'd prefer a quiet adult home where she can learn more about the world. Chiquita would be best in a home without cats as she shows high prey drive. Video of Chiquita with her shelter friends: https://www.facebook.com/spcapv/videos/1401202434079126 She is now healthy and vaccinated. If you think you might be her happy home, please contact us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com for more information. Chiquita is currently in Mexico but can fly to a Canadian home near you! Story
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL COVER THE COST FOR THE NEUTURING/SPAYING AS NEEDED. NO ADOPTION FEE. I have had Cherry since she was a puppy about 6 months old. She is currently 11 years old, but very very active. She looks and acts like a puppy. She is pretty bad with small dogs, but ok with dogs her size. She is very friendly with all people. Very playful. Very quiet at home. Looking for a new home for her due to a separation with my wife. I am moving to a place I cannot take her. My wife is with a toddler and will not be able to look after her either. Looking for a good home for her.
