Meet Sally! This energetic gal is looking for an active family who can keep up with her playful spirit and help her learn some manners along the way. She's food-motivated and eager to learn, making her a great candidate for training classes to build her skills. Sally loves going for walks, playing to her heart's content, and especially enjoys squeaky toys! She's already housetrained and knows sit, down, and shake-she just needs a family ready to guide her as she continues to grow. Story
They call me Thor, God of (Nervous) Thunder. I may not summon lightning or wield a mighty hammer, but I do have a powerful side-eye, some seriously handsome floof, and a soft spot for snacks and nice humans.Sure, I might come off a little shy at first - even thunder gods get stage fright, okay? - but once I decide you're worthy, I'm all in. Deep down, I suspect I might actually enjoy some epic chase sessions with a canine sibling, but I'd like to meet any resident pups first to make sure we're vibing on the same heroic wavelength. So, if you're looking for a sweet, sensitive, slightly dramatic Husky with main character energy and a flair for the dramatic wind-blown look, grab your cape (or leash) and come meet me at the Edmonton Humane Society!https://youtu.be/WZuXnFe0eMIhttps://youtu.be/PqyxiXA1IEI Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: Black Weight: 26.7 Age: 2yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Beautiful husky girl Chiquita, born April 2023, is looking for a home. She is approximately 41 lbs. Her mum and littermates were often seen wandering in the area of the SPCA PV sanctuary and staff and volunteers saw them in deteriorating condition due to a diet heavy on garbage and took them in to give them the care they needed. After she got refuge in the sanctuary, she lived through a hurricane which heavily damaged the shelter, and she had temporary refuge in a home that unfortunately had a landlord that didn't allow dogs.. but in that time, she learned what a home is and what it is meant to be loved. Chiquita is an energetic girl so she’d love a yard with some space to burn off some zoomies but was in a foster home in an apartment. She loves the beach. Her foster mom just loved her, described her as a fast learner, and a great cuddler. She has learned basic commands - sit, come, waits to eat her food. She isn't destructive in the home and did well in the car. She is selective with other dogs, and can be reactive, and would squabble with her siblings. Kids make her nervous so she'd prefer a quiet adult home where she can learn more about the world. Chiquita would be best in a home without cats as she shows high prey drive. Video of Chiquita with her shelter friends: https://www.facebook.com/spcapv/videos/1401202434079126 She is now healthy and vaccinated. If you think you might be her happy home, please contact us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com for more information. Chiquita is currently in Mexico but would love to join her forever home in Canada
