Story
Hello! My name is Juniper! I am approximately 3-4 years old Husky. I've already been spayed and all UTD on my core vaccinations DAPP, Bordetella and my Rabies vaccinations. I am looking for my forever home, with a family with lots of energy for play time and exercise. I will require a home with a tall fence to make sure that I stay home. I will also do best in a home with no small animals. Shelter staff has tried me with other dogs, I do really well with larger male dogs, but a meet and greet would be a requirement if there are any potential fur siblings (dogs) in the home. I'm a super sweet girl and love to be near people. I appear to be housetrained but a little extra encouragement would be good for me in my new home. If you would like to meet me, please call 928-636-4223 ext.7 to make an appointment with shelter staff.

Story
Hi, my name is Snow White, and I am an approximately 1-year-old Husky mix. I arrived at the shelter with my seven 3-day-old puppies on 10/24/24. The "seven dwarfs" all went to their new homes, and now I am ready to find mine! The shelter staff have been told that I lived in a home with other dogs and a cat, and that I got along well with all of them until my puppies were born. Understandably, I got protective of my puppies and did attack a cat. The staff at the shelter has noticed that I am dog selective, I like some and others I am not good with. A meet and greet with any potential future fur-siblings will be required prior to me being adopted out. I am a sweet girl with a lot of energy and need someone active. I am spayed and I'm UTD on my Bordetella, DAPP, and Rabies vaccinations. I am house trained. If you are interested in meeting me, please schedule an appointment by calling the shelter at 928-636-4223, ext. 7. It would also be important to note that a very generous donor has sponsored my adoption fee so all I need is the right family and I am ready to go!

Story
Meet Thumper – The shy but sweet 1-year-old Husky Mix looking for a patient home!Thumper is an approximately 1-year-old Husky mix with a gentle heart and a shy demeanor. He may take some time to warm up to new people and environments, but once he feels comfortable, his true loving nature shines through. Thumper is looking for a patient, understanding family who can help him build confidence and social skills at his own pace. As a young dog, Thumper needs more socialization to feel comfortable in various situations. He’s looking for a calm and experienced home where he can continue to gain confidence, learn to trust, and become the wonderful dog he is meant to be. Thumper will thrive in a home that can provide a steady routine, patience, and positive reinforcement as he grows and adjusts to new experiences. With the right guidance and a caring hand, he’ll become a loyal and loving companion. Thumper is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his DAPP and Bordetella, and Rabies vaccinations. Thumper came to the shelter with his friend, Bambi, and has done well with the other dogs he met as well. A meet and greet with any potential fur-siblings is required. Staff does not know how Thumper feels about cats or other small animals. He is still working on his potty training, but he is doing great! If you're an experienced dog owner who is patient, understanding, and ready to provide Thumper with the time, love, and training he needs, he could be the perfect addition to your home. If you would like to meet Thumper, please call the shelter and set up an appointment at 928-636-4223 ext.7.

Story
We would like everyone to meet the one and only, Bucky! Bucky is an approximately 1-2-year-old male Husky mix. Bucky made his way to the shelter as a somewhat timid stray, but boy has he blossomed. Bucky loves people and will try to greet his favorites with a big hug; we do try to discourage that, but it is just so sweet! He is super playful and loves nothing more than spending hours romping in the play yards with his friends! In typical Husky fashion, he does like to run the show but is never mean or aggressive about it. As is common with a Husky, Bucky will need a home with a tall and secure fence as Huskies do love adventure and will take themselves out on one if given the chance. We would love for him to go to a home with other dog friends as he has so much playing, he also loves chasing balls and will run as many times as you'll throw it. Bucky is UTD on his DAPP, Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations. He also has been neutered and has his microchip. If you are interested in meeting me, please call the shelter and set up an appointment at 928-636-4223 ext.7!
