Felix is a 2-year-old neutered Husky/Australian Cattle Dog mix who was rescued just hours before euthanasia in Roswell, NM—and he’s been making the most of his second chance ever since. He’s a smart, energetic, food-motivated boy who loves puzzle toys, running, and being part of the action. Felix thrives with structure and active owners who enjoy walks, hikes, or a big yard where he can stretch his legs. He knows basic commands (sit, down, wait) and is eager to learn more. Felix bonds deeply with his people and loves attention. He has done well with similarly sized or confident dogs but has a high prey drive and is not suitable for homes with cats, small dogs, or small animals. He is best suited for an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy teens, as he can be sensitive to sudden movements. Story
We love our boy so much and he truly is a love nugget. He is incredibly affectionate and loves being around his people and as much calmer and more laid-back than you might expect from a husky. He is kennel trained, and does well with his kennel, but one of the challenges we’ve discovered is that he cannot consistently make it through a full workday without having an accident. When I originally took him in, I believed our work and school schedule would be more forgiving, but we’ve realized that our current situation just isn’t the best fit for him. Additionally and unfortunately, my daughter has also developed severe allergies since bringing him into her home. We’ve seen a significant increase in her skin and issues. As much as we hate to admit it, we have to put her health in his quality of life first, this is not a decision we are making lately. We are heartbroken and will absolutely miss him, but we believe finding him a home that better fits his needs is the best.

Baby Bear was our first pup from our first litter from momma (Alaskan Klee Kai) and daddy (miniature Husky). Sweet boy LOVES to love! He was born an anxious sweet boy. This comes out with him literally licking you to death and running to his kennel if he’s unsure about something. He’s never had trauma, he’s just special. He loves his “baby” to lick and tear apart or chews nylabones and treats. He recently does not like a male groomer for some reason, and snapped at him when getting him out of their kennel, so now we only request females. He’s never had an issue with our men of the house, so don’t know where it comes from. My elderly mother is moving in and can’t do his heavy fur. Daddy is Bandit, and we’d love them to go together, but it’s not a deal breaker. Bear is an incredibly sweet momma’s boy and needs a good loving home.

This sweet little guy is a 10-week-old Husky puppy. I have taken him in temporarily so I can make sure he ends up in a wonderful permanent home. He is a curious, playful, energetic and affectionate little puppy with a lot of personality. He loves attention, wants to know what’s going on around him, and is busy discovering the world. Like any puppy his age, he is still learning everything like potty training, what he should and shouldn’t chew, and how to be comfortable on his own. I have his vaccination records and will share everything I know about him with his adopter. I would love for the home he goes to now to be the home where he grows up and spends his life. If you feel he might belong with you, I’d love to hear about you, your household, your experience with dogs, why you’re interested in him, and what you imagine life with him looking like as he grows up.

Six year old handsome and well behaved little man. Bandit is a miniature Husky mixed with Alaskan Klee Kai. He’s super smart but never has been mischievous or trouble!! He loves to sit by your legs or play with his ball. He’s never been a chewer but loves a good bone or treat. He barks if someone comes to the door, but not an excessive barker by any means. He’s been our favorite perfect baby since getting him at 8 wks old, and it kills us to rehome him. He was neutered after breeding him, so he will mark his territory if another male dog around.Unfortunately, my elderly mother needs to move in and can’t have the fur. Bandit has a son, Bear, (in pics) we’d love to see go together if possible, but not a deal breaker. He’s gorgeous and soft but does shed a lot, he’s a Husky. Bandit is truly the best baby we’ve ever had, and everyone who meets him loves him!!

She seeks them out for cuddles, gives the cutest little “woo-woos” when she wants to play, and some mornings they wake up to find her curled up right beside them.Pinta just needs someone who understands that trust takes time. She does best when people meet her where she is—literally! Sit or squat down with her, give her some time, and she`ll come right over for attention.She LOVES other dogs! Pinta currently plays beautifully with her foster family`s three high-energy female Husky mixes. Having a confident, dog-social dog in her forever home would be a wonderful way to help her continue building confidence.
