Story
Honey is a sweet as her name suggests. With her gentle nature and sensitive personality, she forms a deep bond with her people and is ready to blossom in the right home.Honey is a shy girl who takes her time getting comfortable, but once she trusts you, her loving and loyal personality truly shines. She thrives on calm energy, patience, and reassurance, and will reward her person with quiet companionship and affection. It may take multiple visits for Honey to warm up to new people. Honey would benefit from working with an AnimalKind trainer to help build her confidence and set her up for success. Honey would do best as the only pet in the home-where she can truly be the "Queen Bee" and enjoy all the love and attention to herself. She would thrive in a home that offers consistency, routine, and a peaceful environment where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace.Honey is a working breed mix, which means she will benefit from both mental and physical enrichment. We encourage potential adopters to learn more about her breed traits to ensure they are prepared to meet her needs and help her succeed. Story
**Nova is available for foster-to-adopt local to the South Okanagan area** Nova is a bright, friendly girl who arrived at the SPCA as a stray, so her past is unknown - but her loving nature is unmistakable. She's eager to meet new people, soak up affection, and be part of someone's daily routine. True to her breed, Nova is an active, intelligent dog who's always looking for something to do. She'll thrive with guardians who can offer plenty of enrichment, exercise, and structure to keep her mind and body busy.Nova appears to be friendly with other dogs, and she may enjoy having a canine companion. However, we're not sure how she feels about cats, so careful introductions - or a cat‑free home - would be best.Because she came in as a stray, Nova may be prone to escape behaviours, which is very typical for her breed. A secure environment and a calm, consistent routine will help her feel safe and settled. We also suspect that Nova may not enjoy confinement such as a crate; she'll be happiest spending time with her people or enjoying a secure, fenced yard rather than being closed in.Nova is ready for a fresh start with someone who appreciates her energy, intelligence, and affectionate spirit. With the right support and an active lifestyle, she'll make a joyful and loyal companion. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Cream Weight: 22.3 Age: 6yrs 0mths 4wks

Story
🐾 Meet Ginny! 🐾 aka "Ginny Binny" | aka "Sink Bug" This fluffy little lady is ready to do a bunch more growing, and steal your heart in the process. She'll snag your spot on the couch too! Ginny is an approximately 15-week-old, 26-pound Lab/Shepherd mix with the most expressive face, a tongue that never quits, and enough personality to fill a whole house. This cutie is a pup who knows how to live — she runs her daily zoomies like it's her full-time job, then clocks out hard for a serious nap. She loves a good game of tug-of-war and debates like no other. She has a habit of "talking" — not barking, just making her puppy opinions very known. 🗣️ She's figured out that the best nap spots are the cozy gaps between the couch and ottoman, or right up against your feet. Honestly, we get it. She's a young lady finding her way but this is what we know so far; ✅ Good with other dogs and loves to play! ✅ Good with cats ✅ Walks well on a leash ✅ Kennel trained ✅ Pretty much house trained 🤷 Children: Not tested, but being such a young, gentle pup, she's likely to adapt well — best to introduce carefully 🤷 Other animals: Unknown, hasn't been around them yet Could Ginny's forever home be with you?
