Story
Meet Steele — the definition of a true Husky. Independent. Incredibly smart. And absolutely stunning. After spending four long months in the county shelter, Steele had nearly given up hope. When our team first saw him, he lay in his kennel with his back to the door, as if saying, “Don’t bother… everyone else has walked past.” But we didn’t. And honestly, he still seems a little surprised that someone finally stopped and chose him. The moment Steele realized he had a yard of his own, everything changed. He lit up instantly—bounding through the grass, digging with joy, and rediscovering what it means to simply be a dog. He picked up on our routines right away and has been an easy, respectful resident ever since. Steele has proven himself to be a genuinely wonderful dog. Though he’s on the more mellow side for a Husky, he’s still a breed known for needing exercise, enrichment, and space to stretch those smart legs and active instincts. He’ll thrive in a home that can offer him that balance of activity and independence. Steele is very much a “go at his own pace” kind of guy. He enjoys hanging out with us, accepts affection with quiet appreciation, and is equally content when it’s time for us to head out. He doesn’t need constant attention—just consistency, understanding, and a place to finally belong. If you’re looking for a stunning, soulful Husky who’s ready to start his next chapter, Steele might just be your guy.

Story
Meet Luna Girl – A Fluffy Husky Mix with a Big Personality Luna Girl is a beautiful young adult Husky mix with a fluffy white coat and a strong sense of self. She’s good with other dogs, walks nicely on leash, and appears to be housebroken. She’s been around kids and can do well with older, respectful ones who understand her boundaries—mainly that she doesn’t like being touched around the neck or fussed with when it comes to collars. Luna isn’t a fan of strangers and will let them know with her voice, but with time and patience, she’ll welcome trusted humans into her circle. Once you’re in, Luna transforms into a playful, goofy, and affectionate companion who’ll keep you smiling. If you have the patience to let her come around at her own pace, Luna Girl could be your perfect match.

Story
Meet Loki! This handsome Husky Mix is full of personality—and not just because of his one-of-a-kind haircut (done by a non-professional, but hey, it adds character!). Loki is a social guy who’s gotten along with everyone he’s met at the shelter. He’s smart, knows basic commands like “sit” and “stay,” and is always up for an adventure. He loves car rides, but be warned—keep those windows up, because Loki’s a little too excited about the world outside and might try to leap right into it! He’s got a high-energy, dominant playstyle and does best with large dogs who can match his vibe. Small dogs? A bit too much for them. But if you’ve got a big dog who loves to romp, Loki could be a perfect playmate. With his bold spirit, good manners, and goofy charm, Loki is looking for an active home that can keep up with him—and maybe help his fur grow back a little evenly!
