Story
Hi, Im Preston! Im a sweet, energetic boy who came from an accidental litter. My mom is an Alaskan Husky, so Ive got the smarts, drive, and playful spirit that come with the breed. I grew up with cats, and Im great with them Im actually a really good dog all around, I just need the right kind of home. I do have high energy, so Im looking for someone who understands working-type breeds and can give me structure, activity, and a big backyard to run and explore. I love people and Im eager to please, but I do have one quirk: I dont like tires. Cars, bikes, anything with spinning wheels makes me anxious and Ill go after them. Im not sure if something happened to me before, but Id do best with someone who can help me work through that safely. If youre experienced, active, and looking for a loyal companion wholl adore you forever, I might be your perfect match. I promise Ill bring tons of love, joy, and adventure into your life. Please visit our website desertpawssanctuary.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Samantha’s journey began on the streets of Tijuana, born shortly after her pregnant mother was found in front of a gas station by a kind-hearted stranger. Thanks to a Good Samaritan, her mom was given a safe place to raise her puppies, away from the dangers of street life. Now, two years later, Samantha is still waiting for a home to call her own. Samantha is a stunning Alaskan Malamute and Shepherd mix, about 2 years old, spayed, vaccinated, and weighs a petite 38 pounds. She’s a bit shy when meeting new people but give her a little time, and she’ll soon show her sweet and gentle personality. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and children. While she adores her foster caretaker and their grandchild, the space is very limited and Samantha hasn’t had the chance to run and play outdoors like she longs to. She’s ready for a family that will give her the space, patience, and love she deserves. Currently being fostered in Tijuana, Mexico — but don’t worry! Transportation can be arranged as far north as Los Angeles County. For adoption information, please contact Allysonart8@gmail.com or call 626-798-3077.

Meet Emma – A Sweet and Resilient Malamute Ready for Her Forever Home This beautiful Alaskan Malamute was found on the streets of Tijuana two years ago, pregnant and seeking shelter in front of a gas station. Thanks to a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, Emma was rescued and given a safe place to raise her 4 puppies (also available for adoption!). Though Emma has never truly had a home of her own, she’s lived in a foster home in Tijuana where she adores her caretaker and is wonderful with the grandchild in the household. Despite the love she receives, the space is very limited, and Emma dreams of a home where she can finally run, play, and stretch her legs outside. Emma is now about 5 years old, weighs 55 pounds, and has been spayed and vaccinated. She is leash-trained, crate-trained, and gets along well with other dogs. She’s a calm, gentle soul who would love nothing more than a family of her own. Transport to Los Angeles and surrounding areas can be arranged for her perfect match.
