Ready to adopt? Start by filling out an application at tailsofrescue.org or click the Adoption button below—this is the first step to learn more about our animals and for us to get to know you. Since not all of our pets come into the store each day, adoption meet-and-greets are scheduled by appointment.   Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed.  Adoption fee is $350.00  We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things.  We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.   ##2533823##

Meet Della! This busy girl loves to explore her surroundings. She’s always interested in anything new, exciting, or interesting. Hanging out in a kennel all day? Boring! Naps? No time for that nonsense! 3 mile run? Child’s play! Della has no interest in the couch potato life. She wants in be on the action, exploring with her people and keeping up with all the neighborhood drama. Did the people across the street plant new flowers? Better check them out asap!Della has done well with other dogs in the shelter and wouldn’t mind having other dogs in her new home- as long as they are adventurous as she is!
