Meet Jasper – Your Next Adventure Buddy and Certified Good Boy! Jasper is a lovable mixed-breed sweetheart who has truly blossomed during his time at the Ranch — a genuine diamond in the ruff! When he first arrived as a shy, unsure teenager, it was clear he hadn’t been given the best start in life. But over the past two years, this gentle soul has transformed into a goofy, affectionate, eager-to-please pup who’s more than ready to find a family of his very own. Jasper is the total package. He’s playful but easygoing, loving without being needy, and charmingly low-maintenance for a dog with such a big heart. One of his favorite things in the whole world? Belly rubs. He’ll happily trade treats for a good scratch and will proudly show off his obedience skills just to make you smile. He walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys grooming sessions, and is always excited for an outing — whether it’s a quick car ride or a full-blown adventure. Jasper gets along well with most other dogs of all sizes. In fact, when a tiny dog once wandered into his yard, Jasper greeted the surprise visitor with calm curiosity and zero fuss. He’s an incredibly mellow, easygoing guy, making him a wonderful fit for a multi-dog home or a pup who loves social time at the dog park. And when it comes to fun? Jasper shines brightest around water. A splash in the pool, a stroll by the river, a day at the beach — if it involves getting his paws wet, Jasper is all in. With his endearing clumsiness, joyful energy, and tender-hearted nature, Jasper is the kind of dog who will quickly work his way right into your heart. If you’re searching for a loyal companion who’s ready for summer fun, outdoor adventures, and a lifetime of love, come meet Jasper at the Ranch today — your adventure buddy is waiting. Meet Comet – The One-Eyed Wonder with a Heart Full of Zoomies and Love! If you're searching for a dog who’s equal parts sweet, silly, and soulful — look no further than Comet! This stunning husky mix isn’t just a pretty face (though he definitely is); he’s also bursting with personality and love. When Comet first came to us, he was battling severe glaucoma in his right eye. Unfortunately, the eye couldn’t be saved, and it had to be removed. But don’t worry — Comet hasn’t missed a beat! He zips around like nothing ever happened and still does his signature “consolidated zoomies” (picture: tucked booty, tight happy circles, dramatic play bows). It’s impossible not to smile when he’s in motion! True to his husky nature, Comet’s got opinions and isn’t afraid to talk back with a little sass. But under all that fun is a big softie. He shakes with excitement when he sees his favorite people and will rub along the fence line just to be close and soak up some pets. He’s also a gentle playmate — respectful, kind, and never too rough during play. Whether he’s wrestling with his humans or curling up for cuddles, he knows how to keep it sweet. Comet came in with a small husky friend named Sascha (who has since found her forever home), and now he’s hoping it’s finally his turn. If you're ready for a goofy, affectionate, one-eyed wonder who will fill your days with laughter and love, Comet is waiting to meet you. Call the Ranch today and come fall in love with this lovable husky! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Meet Brynn – Your Brainy Best Buddy and Loyal Companion! Brynn is a clever, medium-sized pup who’s always ready for adventure and a little learning along the way. She knows commands like Sit and Stay, is potty trained, rides wonderfully in the car, and loves spending time with her people. With her happy-go-lucky personality, she’s a total smarty-pants who thrives when she can use her brain—and treats are always a helpful incentive! This people-oriented girl has a heart of gold. She’s spent time around children with special needs and intuitively knows when to be gentle and patient. She also gets along fabulously with other dogs, making her a perfect fit for a multi-dog household or regular playdates. Brynn has had a few bumps in her journey—she’s been adopted and returned a couple of times through no fault of her own, first due to life changes and later for financial reasons. Yet through it all, she’s remained sweet, patient, and hopeful, still believing that her perfect family is out there. She’s not an escape artist; Brynn prefers staying close to her humans and exploring the world by your side. An active home where she can stretch her legs, challenge her brain, and be part of daily life would make her happiest. Meet Boris – Intelligent, Loyal, and Ready to Be Your One and Only Boris is a remarkable dog who thrives in a calm, structured home with a confident leader by his side. This loyal boy is a wonderful house companion who will shower you with affection and devotion—if you’re the right fit for him. Inside the home, Boris is polite, house-trained, and well-versed in basic obedience. His impressive command list includes Sit, Stay, Down, Come, Leave it, Wait, and Let go. Despite his strong and powerful appearance, Boris has a gentle heart and treats his caretakers with kindness. He loves carrying around his favorite lamb-shaped stuffed toy, a sweet reminder of his playful side. Boris does have one important preference: he wants to be the only dog in the household. He enjoys his territory and isn’t interested in sharing it with another canine companion. Outdoors, Boris shines as an active, energetic dog who loves playing fetch and splashing in the water. He is leash-trained, food-motivated, and responds well to verbal cues. While he is strong, Boris respects a handler who knows how to set boundaries and keep him well-mannered. With the right leadership, he will be an excellent partner for walks, hikes, or even jogging. If you’re searching for a devoted canine companion who will be the king of your castle and your loyal exercise buddy, Boris might be the perfect match. Story
Meet Bogart – A Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold He’s handsome. He’s huggable. He’s incredibly sweet. What more could you ask for? Bogart is a beautiful, loving boy who’s patiently waiting for his forever family. With his calm demeanor and affectionate nature, he’s the kind of dog who brings instant peace to any room he walks into. At first glance, some people overlook Bogart because of his large size — but don’t be fooled! He’s a true gentle giant. He walks politely on a leash, never jumps up on people, and is happy just to be near you. He’s as soft in spirit as he is big in body. Bogart recently spent time in a short-term foster home with a sweet female dog named Dixie, where he did wonderfully — showing just how well he fits into a family with other pets. He also rides well in the car and will happily run or walk alongside a bike, making him a fantastic companion for outdoor adventures. He’s a natural with people of all ages. Bogart has participated in pet therapy visits with seniors, where his calm, comforting presence stole hearts. He’s also fantastic with children and would make a loving and loyal family dog. He gets along well with other dogs — even the ones who come on a little strong — and greets new friends with kindness and patience. One of his favorite things in the world? Forehead kisses. Give him a little smooch, and you'll have a best friend for life. If you're looking for a steady, affectionate companion who’s full of love and grace, Bogart is ready to be your gentle rock. Call the Ranch today to meet this sweet soul — he's ready to show you just how perfect a big-hearted pup can be. This dog, as well as several other dogs and puppies, are currently in our program through a special collaboration with Siskiyou County Animal Control.  Due to severe overcrowding and limited resources in the region, many shelters are faced with incredibly difficult decisions. Together, we’re working to give these dogs a better chance by finding them loving homes or transferring them to partner rescues. They’re available for adoption just like our Rescue Ranch pups — but because of the urgency of the situation, they may be transferred quickly. If you're interested, we highly encourage you to act fast — they deserve a loving home, and it could be yours! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       December 10, 2025, 7:32 pm
