Dapper Mr. Monty is perfectly named as he really is the whole kit-and-caboodle! If you are looking for a smart, young, friendly, and athletic dog, Monty may be just right for you. He is an extremely happy and good-natured boy who makes a quick connection with everyone he meets. Monty is adept at learning tricks. He has already mastered "Sit" and "Down," and is working on taking treats gently. He walks well on a leash and would make a fantastic outdoor adventure buddy.  He is quite exuberant and tends to get a bit excited when first greeting a friend but settles quickly once he knows he has your attention and strives to earn your approval.  Monty is a social butterfly with everyone and would do well in any home setting. He shares space with other dogs of any size and he even loves kids. Despite his larger size and sometimes high energy, he knows when to be a gentle dog making him a perfect match for any age.  If Monty sounds like your perfect match, call the Ranch to meet him today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Story
This darling mixed-breed boy is a true diamond in the ruff! Jasper came to the Ranch as a teen-ager who had clearly not had a lot of good experiences with humans. In the almost two years that he's been with us, he's matured into an adorable, well-meaning, slightly clumsy dog who will do pretty much anything for your attention. If you're looking for a good-natured, goofy, adventurous dog to join you for all the summer fun, read on! Jasper is an easy-care boy who just wants to earn your approval any way he can. He's happy to work for belly rubs in lieu of treats, running through his people-pleasing stock of obedience cues. Your attention is his biggest reward. He knows how to walk on leash and even enjoys his grooming sessions. He's always up for a play session and gets along with all kinds of other dogs, big and small. He'd fit well into a multi-dog household. This makes him a great candidate if you're looking for a pooch who will join you for a walk to the local dog park. Jasper also loves water and would enjoy trips to visit the beach, lake, or river--or even just join you in the pool. If you find Jasper's puppy-dog eyes hard to resist, call the Ranch to meet this charming class clown today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Guppy is one smart cookie! This good-tempered, docile pup already knows Sit, Down, Shake, Fetch, and other cues, and learns new things very quickly. For just a teen-aged pup, Guppy has a lot under his belt! He is mostly house-trained, sleeps in a crate, and walks beautifully on leash. He's been thoroughly socialized with other dogs and gets along with canines of various sizes and temperaments. He loves to rough-house with other dogs his size when he gets the opportunity, but will back off when told to by an assertive adult dog of any size. He even enjoys car rides. What Guppy still needs is continued socialization around people and human environments. He's had a great start thanks to his foster experience and is ready to make a family very happy. If you're looking for an all-around wonderful, easy-to-care-for family dog, call the Ranch to meet Guppy today! Puppy adoptions are $300. Most Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. Puppies will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. Before going home, at minimum, all of our puppies will have received the first two puppy shots for parvo and distemper, and been dewormed. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.  Puppies are also microchipped and registered with   24PetWatch . We require spay/neutering at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian, when they will also be given their first rabies vaccine. Alternatively adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required). All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       November 6, 2024, 10:05 pm

Story
Meet Tamara! Tamara's beautiful coloring gives her an ethereal look and her personality matches! She is mellow and affection and generally unbothered by the chaos of the shelter environment. Sometime during her first night at the adoption center, a baby snake snuck in to her kennel! When staff went into the kennel to pull it out, the snake struck her leg (she was not injured) and she simply looked down at it and back up at staff seemingly asking "Are you going to get it or what?"  Tamara has been paired with a few dogs here at the shelter and may do well in a home with the right canine companion. If this easy-going girl sounds perfect for your family, come to the Ranch to meet her today!  Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Beautiful young adult female husky mix, smart and friendly.Meet Perla, AKA Pearl, a very sweet and friendly young female who loves to hug her humans, she will wrap her paws around you to be cuddled! Perla was abandoned at a construction site in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. She was young and had 4 other male dogs chasing after her, trying to mate with her. She was scared but also very friendly, and we were able to rescue her and get her vaccinated and sterilized. She is now a healthy, active girl who loves playing with other dogs, requires lots of walks/runs/hikes, and enjoys running and playing at dog parks. She's petite and portable yet has big dog energy, a gorgeous snow white coat, and one blue eye and one brown. Perla is also very smart, and has already learned how to sit for treats. She has a high drive and loves looking for birds and bunnies on her walks, and is food motivated, so we think she is very easy to train and is ready to become someone's very special dog. If you put the time in to teach her new things, there's no doubt she will surprise you with her ability to learn and become an active and very loving member of your family!  Perla is house broken, knows how to use a doggie door, and is crate trained. Story
This intelligent, loyal boy is a wonderful house dog and will make an unforgettable companion. All Boris needs is a confident leader and a calm home. Could you be the person Boris is waiting for? Indoors, Boris is polite, house-trained, and familiar with all the basics of obedience. His impressive repertoire of commands includes "Sit," "Stay," "Down," "Come," "Leave it," "Wait," and "Let go." Despite his powerful appearance, Boris is kind-hearted and very gentle with his caretakers. His favorite toy is a lamb-shaped stuffie that he carries around in his mouth. In the past, Boris used to live with cats and completely ignored them. His only request is to be king of the castle and not share his territory with another canine. Outside, Boris loves a good game of fetch and playing in the water. He's leash-trained, food-motivated, and obeys verbal corrections well. There's no doubt that Boris is a strong dog who needs a savvy handler who can remind him to mind his manners. Boris deserves a harmonious match for an owner. This beautiful boy would make a wonderful walking, hiking, or even jogging partner. He is a good boy looking for strong leadership that compares to his own. If you're looking for a magnificent dog to be the one canine love of your life, call the Ranch to meet Boris today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog.
