Meet Sadie Sink, a bright, energetic Husky with a big personality and an even bigger love for adventure. True to her name, Sadie brings a bold, expressive energy everywhere she goes. She is playful, curious, and always ready to see what’s on the other side of the fence, the trail, or the next exciting scent in the air.
Sadie is highly intelligent and very treat motivated, which makes her a fun and engaging dog to work with. She enjoys learning, especially when training feels like a game, and she picks up on routines quickly. She walks on leash and enjoys being out and about, taking in the world around her with enthusiasm and curiosity.
She is social with people, warms up fairly quickly, and enjoys attention and affection once she feels comfortable. After activity and stimulation, she is content to settle down nearby and relax with her person.
Like many Huskies, Sadie has a high prey drive and will need an experienced, proactive home that understands how to safely manage an energetic working breed. She does best with structure, supervision, and secure handling, especially in outdoor environments.
Sadie is looking for a home that is set up for success with management in mind, including secure fencing and controlled outdoor time. Due to her high prey drive and Husky breed traits, she will do best in a home with experienced handlers who understand the importance of structure, supervision, and preventing opportunities for chasing or overstimulation. A calm, predictable environment with consistent routines will help set her up for success. She is best suited for a rural or low-traffic setting where outdoor activity can be safely managed and she is not regularly exposed to high levels of foot traffic, loose animals, or close neighboring pets.
In the right home, Sadie is the kind of dog who will truly shine. She is athletic, intelligent, funny, expressive, and deeply engaging. She bonds with her people and wants to be part of daily life, adventures, and activity.
